    • Where IS the Coffee?

Sprinkles the bunny is desperately seeking caffeine in the above image. Too cute!

Hello card makers and crafters alike, so glad you are here!

Today I (Kim) am sharing this cute little bunny “Sprinkles” from Your Next Stamp. She is desperate need of caffeine and speaks to my spirit as a coffee lover for sure. The patterned paper is a blast from the past by SFL. I got so excited when I found it in my stash!

I really wanted the cute bunny butt to take center stage because the above image and the sentiment just make me laugh and that is what I wanted for the recipient of this card. I hope it brings them a chuckle.

      There’s that sweet face!

The two images I used and all the sentiments are part of this one stamp set by Your Next Stamp “Sprinkles Coffee and Tea”. The sentiment on the inside of the card completely pulls at my heart strings and I cannot wait to give this card to a friend.

I colored the images with Copic Markers and when finished I just HAD to add some sparkle with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker. The finishing touch was to add some sequins from a previous Flavor of the Month Card Kit and voila, it was complete.

Thanks so much for joining me here on the blog today, I hope you have any easy time finding your favorite go to pick me up!

      Just keep creating,

      Kim 🙂

    • Coffee Melt Snowman by Your Next Stamp

Posted at 9:00 am by Stacy Tiedemann
      Nov 10th

Hi Everyone, this is Renee’ with Delaney Jane Cards and I’m so excited to be on the Scrapping for Less blog today. I am one of two guest designers this month and I cannot wait to share some fun things with everyone.

I created an adorable snowman Christmas card using Coffee Melt by YNS and Echo Park’s My Favorite Christmas 6×6 pad. You can find both in the Scrapping for Less store.

I had some trouble with my colorless blender while coloring this image and wasn’t sure I could salvage it so I had to find a solution. I colored the sky and used that same troublesome 0 Copic to add swirls to the color to camouflage my error.

Sometimes a simple creative solution can keep your project from getting tossed in the trash.

I really loved the color pallet this paper pad offered. It gave me a set of colors to use on this adorable melting snowman. I even got to use my favorite Copic YG17.

Your Next Stamp has some of the cutest sets and most include fun sentiments like this one. Life is too short for bad coffee.  It makes me giggle as this snowman melts for his love of the wonderful caffeinated goodness.  I figured the mug was supposed to be a snowman, but I wanted to spread the green color around a bit more and made it green… another opportunity to use YG17. I have no clue why I like that color as much as I do, but I try to incorporate it in all my green combos.

Thank you for stopping by & remember to GIVE CARDS GENEROUSLY!

      -Renee

Both of these are A2 size cards or 4 1/4 in. X 5 1/2 in. and both card bases are from my stash.

For the first card, I used the “Wild Animals Paper Pad” and used the sheet as a panel that was cut to 4 in. X 5 1/4 in. I colored the chameleon and flower with Studio 71 alcohol markers and used my Scan N Cut to cut the images out. I cut out a circle with a stitched circle die and then put it on overlapping the panel and cut off the end. I used the same paper as the circle to heat emboss the sentiment, and I popped up both the chameleon and sentiment.  On the inside of the card, I added another sentiment from the stamp set that said: “Don’t ever change”.  I used the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen on the chameleon image.

      20190805_234000

For the next card, I blended Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover, and Peeled Paint, over the Palm Leaf stencil and a piece of the pattern paper from the “Wild Animals” paper pad. I love how it turned out! I cut it down to 4 in. X 5 1/4 in. I stamped the sentiments from the stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Popped on the Doodle Pop Koala and used a few sequins from a previous FOTM kit.

    • Christmas All Year Long – Sweet and Fun Holiday

Posted at 2:24 pm by Lynnea Hollendonner
      Aug 2nd

Hey, everyone! I love being part of Christmas All Year Long for Scrapping for Less! It’s such a great way to build up my Christmas card stash before the holidays sneak up on me! Today I’m creating a quick card that can easily be mass produced using different patterned paper!

      Merry Mouse

The Santa’s Workshop 6 x 6 paper pad from Carta Bella is full of gorgeous fun and whimsy papers! I chose two more classic patterns – but this card can easily be recreated with a more whimsical pattern to give a totally different feel! I chose the red paper for my background and I die cut the blue pattern with a reverse scallop frame to be the backdrop for my focal image.

      Merry Mouse 2

I stamped the little mouse from the Sweet and Fun Holiday Your Next Stamp set and colored him in with alcohol markers. I just love his little tray with fruit cake! I also stamped a sentiment onto a strip of cardstock.

      Merry Mouse 3

I adhered everything together – the sentiment strip with liquid glue and the frame and mouse with foam squares for dimension. Here’s a short how – to video!

    • Christmas All Year Long – Patterned Paper Cards

Posted at 12:00 pm by Lynnea Hollendonner
      May 10th

Hey, everyone! It’s Lynnea! I know many of us find ourselves scrambling in November and December to create Christmas cards for friends and family. At Scrapping for Less we are celebrating Christmas all year long! Once a month we will be sharing inspiration for a Christmas card! I used the Photoplay Here Comes Santa paper pad and a sentiment from the Stocking Full of Joy stamp set from Your Next Stamp to create a set of 7 Christmas cards!

      Christmas Paper

I used about 5 pieces of patterned paper to create these 7 cards! And in the end I only had 2 little strips left! And I created all 7 cards in about 20 minutes! Yay! I have a video tutorial at the end of this post so make sure you check it out!

      Christmas Paper 2

I started by cutting up some pieces of patterned paper – some had little images (like pictured above) and some into strips of varying widths. I didn’t follow any sketches, but these are super basic layouts that can be easily replicated!

      Christmas Paper 3

I needed a sentiment for some of the layouts and the “Happy Holidays” sentiment from the Stocking Full of Joy stamp set seemed perfect! I love the little script!

      Christmas Paper 4

I had a bunch of strips of paper left over, so I decided to use them to create one more card! Plus I couldn’t let that little Santa image go unused!

      Thanks for joining me!

      Mar 5th

Happy Tuesday!  It’s Stacy here from Craftaholicmomma up on the Scrapping for Less blog today.  For the Month of March we are going to be focusing on Celebrations, of all kinds.  Today I have six cards I made in rainbow colors using the Your Next Stamp Silly Monsters stamp set.  I layered the MFT horizontal collage cover die over panels of pattern paper from the Sunny Studio Polka Dot Parade collection.   I used the MFT happy birthday candles die to cut a bunch of candles from the Sunny Studio Striped Silly 6x6 paper collection.

I used gold foil cardstock to die cut the flames of the candles.  I stamped all of my images with Gina K Amalgam Black Ink and colored them in with my Copic Markers and mounted them on adhesive foam squares.  I used Versafine Onyx Black ink for the sentiment.

Adding googly eyes and confetti sequins gave them that “something something”  I hope you enjoy my cards and find inspiration.

Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you enjoy all of the great Celebrations projects this month.

    • Your Next Stamp Coffee Melt | January Flavor of the Month Card Kit

Posted at 8:34 am by infoscrappingforless
      Feb 16th

Hi, it’s Jenn from Scrapbena Creations. Today I am sharing an adorable card with Your Next Stamp Coffee Melt stamp set, which can be found in the January 2019 Flavor of the Month Card Kit.

I coloured the image using copic markers. I decided to keep the colour palette pretty soft and simple with brown and teal tones to match the pattern paper from the kit. To complete the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment “I melt for good coffee and friends” and backed it onto another piece of pattern paper. Then I used Lawn Fawn Mermaid ink to stamp the melting snowman image on the bottom right hand corner. You can still easily write over the image because the ink colour is so light.

    • January Flavor of the Month Card Kit Overhang Card

Posted at 9:00 am by Lynnea Hollendonner
      Feb 6th

Hi! I’ve been having fun with “fun fold” cards lately and today’s card gives a little twist to the standard side folding card! I call it an “overhang” card because I don’t know exactly what it’s called! You’ll see what I mean as we get started! And the video below is super helpful in recreating your own overhang card!

At first glance this card looks like any other, but it’s actually all one layer! I used the January 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit from Scrapping for Less to make this card. I started by using some of the white cardstock in the kit to create an A2 side folding card. I love the Coffee Melt stamp set from Your Next Stamp! This stamp set is included in the Banana Split level and it’s too cute for words! It’s exclusive to the kit, so if you want it make sure you scoop up the kit before it’s gone! I stamped the sentiment and melty snowman with some Copic friendly ink and colored him in!

I showed some of the coloring in the video below, but here’s a photo of all the markers I used for today’s project!

Now for the fun part! I unfolded my card so that it would be flat and put it into my paper trimmer. I trimmed about and inch off of the right side of the card above and below the snowman. Make sure you don’t cut the snowman completely off! Only trim above and below the stamped image. Then I used my scissors to fussy cut around the snowman up to the part where I trimmed. This makes it so that the right side of the snowman is hanging off the side of the card! Super cute, right! You could definitely leave the inside of the card white, but I decided to trim off a strip of the chevron paper from collection 2 in the kit and add it to the inside of the card. Now you have something fancy on the outside and some decoration on the inside as well! And this card is practically one layer, so it’s super easy to mail!

It looks so fun! I added some clear shimmer from my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to the hat, scarf, and mug and added Glossy Accents for some shine. Check out the process video below!
