    • Tinsel in a Tangle Spinner Card

Posted at 2:44 pm by Stacy Tiedemann
      Nov 28th

Hello, It’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up on the Scrapping for Less blog today with a super cute spinner card.  The image in the stamp set looks to me like he is wiggling and squirming his way out of a tangled up mess of Christmas lights so I wanted to put some movement into my card to accentuate that.  I choose to do a spinner card where he can spin and wiggle and squirm all he needs to.

I hope you like my card and inspires you to look outside the box and add some movement to your cards.  An action wobble would have worked as well.  I’ll have to try that next time.

Here is a list of products used:

Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# Cardstock

Sugar Pea Designs “Tinsel in a Tangle” stamp set

MFT Candy Land 6x6 paper pad

Uniball Signo Gel Pen in Gold

      Copic Markers:  N6, N4, N2, C00. B24, B28, YR04, YR07, R24, R46 and YG 05

MFT Mini Ink Cube in Red Hot

      MFT Extreme Black Ink

      Versafine Onyx Black Ink

      Hero Arts Infinity Circle Dies

      MFT Scalloped Stitched Circle Dies

Twine, rhinestones and plastic snowflakes from my stash

      Thanks for visiting,

Hello Crafty Friends!  It’s Tina from Cards & Coffee Time.  Today I made a card with the Delightful “Parisian Holiday” Stamp Set by SugarPea Designs and La-La Land Crafts Vintage Bike.  I thought the two complimented each other beautifully.  I distressed the rounded rectangle frame with Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink.  Also added a bit of color behind my scene with more Distress Oxide in the colors of Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron.  I colored the images with copic markers and die cut the adorable vintage bike with silver foil cardstock.  For finishing touches I added a few silver stars.  Check out the Scrapping for Less Shop for the items used today for my Design Team Project!  Have a Beautiful Day!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs, Tina

Good Morning and Happy Thursday fellow crafters! Today I am on the Scrapping for Less blog to share with you two cards I made using SugarPea Designs “Simply Fabulous Sentiments” stamp set and the “Fabulous” die!

When you first look at the card it looks like it is flat except for the sequins, but if you look at the second picture you can see the layers of the die cut.  This idea is not mine, lol.  Jennifer McGuire made a video and it is simply brilliant.  It takes a little more time to cut out the extra words, but the look is so worth it!

      Here is what I used:

      SugarPea Designs

      “Simply Fabulous Sentiments” stamp set

      “Fabulous” die

      Paper

My Favorite Things – “Bundles of Blossoms” (scrappingforless.blog April 2018 Flavor of the Month)

Simple Stories – “Hello Fall” (scrappingforless.blog Sept 2017 Flavor of the Month)

      Embellishments

Kennedy Grace Sequins – “Vintage Bliss” (Scrappingforless.com April 2018 Flavor of the Month)

Kennedy Grace Sequins – Hello Fall” (Scrappingforless.com Sept 2017 Flavor of the Month)

      Other Supplies

      Versa Mark Ink Pad

      Lawn Fawn Glue Tube

      1/8” Glue Dots

Thank you for stopping by.  Make each day creatively crafty and stay tuned for more craftiness!

    • SugarPea Designs ~ Have a Novel Birthday!

Posted at 9:00 am by Crystal O. Minkler
      Jun 9th

Hello! Crystal here with an adorable card using SugarPea Design’s Reading Friends… oh my goodness… this set is so sweet! Reminds me of when I was a kid… I was always reading! Now I’m always card making… lol… well, when I can!

      I started off by stamping the image on white card stock with my go to ink – Memento tuxedo black – and then I colored and colored… I loved coloring this image! I used the following Copic markers ~ Tree – E55, E57, G14, G17; Girls – E0000, E000, E00, R20, E99, YR23, YR24, E11, E31, YR02, YR16, Y000, Y13, B000, B12; Books – N0, Y06, Y35, R14, R27, E55, E57, G12, G14, B000, B02, B24; Sky Background – B0000, B000. I die cut the image and then mount it on a die cut yellow scalloped rectangle. I set that aside.

I cut the diagonal rainbow paper from Lawn Fawn’s Really Rainbow paper pack and mat it on white card stock. I then adhered that piece to a blue card base. I cut the blue notebook paper from the same Really Rainbow paper pack and adhered it to the card. I then popped up the main image on the card.

I used the EK Tools Powder Tool Applicator on a scrap of white card stock to keep any static from messing up my stamped sentiment and then using VersaMark watermark ink I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed ultra fine black embossing powder. My last touch was to add a few sequins from my stash. So cute! I love how this turned out! I hope you do too!

      Thanks for stopping by!

      See ya next time.
