Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with three projects i made using SugarPea Designs stamp sets.
My first project is using ‘Barn To Be Wild” from SugarPea Designs. I stamped my images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and cut with my Scan N Cut. I colored my images using Chameleon Markers, and used Silver Wink of Stella on the top of the Silo, as well as around the roof of the barn. I used a die from my stash to cut out the white frame. I used Lucky Clover and Broken China Distress Oxides in each cut out to make the background, I added a little Vintage Photo Distress Oxide to the frame with the pig. My paisley background panel is from the SFL May Monthly Kit, as well as the card base and layering panel.
My next two projects are using SugarPea Designs Let’s Flamingle! For this first project I first stamped and cut masks of the images using Inkadinkado masking paper. I then put the masks on my panel and used Broken China Distress Oxide for my sky, and Vintage Photo for the land, i also used Salty Ocean for the water. I used Memento Rich Cocoa for the Palm Tree and Cottage Ivy for the leaves. I used Rose Bud for the body of the Flamingo’s and Love Letter for the wings. I used Tuxedo Black for the beaks legs and sentiment. I followed that up by using Grape Jelly for the hibiscus which is covering up a mistake I made.
I followed all this up with Ebony Black Nuvo Drops for the eyes, Bubblegum Pink around the sentiment and Antique Gold for the female’s necklace.
For my second project using this same stamp set, I decided to make it clean and simple. I stamped everything with Memento Inks; the tree with Rich Cocoa and Desert Sand. The Leaves were stamped with Cottage Ivy and Bamboo Shoots. The flamingo bodies were stamped with Rose Bud, the wing with Love Letter and the Sentiment, beak and legs with Tuxedo Black. The water spots were stamped with Bahama Blue. i used my Tim Holtz stamp platorm for all my stamping so I could ink and stamp over if needed.
Hope you liked my projects today.

I started my project by creating my background using my Distress Oxides in Peacock Feathers and Broken China. I used my finger sponge daubers to lay down my color then sprayed my panel with water to get those colors moving. I found some wood grain paper in my stash and cut 1/2 inch strips and layered them at the bottom to create a wood floor.
I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored each image using my Prismacolor Pencils!! They are my favorite medium… Once they were done I fussy cut them out and got them ready to be the center stage on my background!
The sentiment I chose was “Life is a Circus” and used a banner die from my stash.
Set my panel on a standard A2 size side folding card base! We are now ready for the celebration!
