Hello, it’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with a birthday card featuring the brand new January Flavor of the Month Card Kit “All About the Boys” that was just released this past Saturday.

This kit is wonderful for making cards for the fellas in our lives. Whether they like kings and crowns or tools or gnomes and buffalo plaid they are surely going to love any card you’ve made with this kit.

Starting today, January 28, 2020 through this Friday, January 31, 2020 if you purchase any of the in stock Flavor of the Month Card Kits (including this new one!) and the January SFL Winter Fairy Bundle you will receive $5 off and a FREE GIFT on your next purchase. Today I used the stencil from the Banana Split level to make my background with Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes. I then stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and layered it on colored cardstock.

Hi Everyone!  Luci here with a few cards using Nuvo Stone Drops, a few stencils, including the Echo Park “Coffee Dot” stencil, stamps set from Echo Park “I Am A Crafter“, Gina K “Sweet Friendship“, a Hello Die from Pink and Main, paper pad from SFL “Spring Patterns”, nesting dies from Sizzix heart and flower sets, Versafine Onyx Black Ink for the sentiments and the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen.

Be sure to check out the video HERE!

For all of these cards, I used the Nuvo Drops over the stencils and let it dry about an hour in a half to two hours.

      20191216_014507.jpg

This card is a 5 1/2 inch square card base.  I used the largest heart die and cut it out the abstract stencil, then I used the second to the smallest heart for the sentiment that I cut out from white cardstock, I cornered the right edge of the card base. I stamped the sentiment on the small heart. I adhered the heart onto the card base in the center and then popped up the sentiment heart in the middle of the large heart. to finish it up I used some sequins.

This card I made similar to the first except its A2 size or 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch card base in pink and I used a piece of pattern paper that I cut down to 4 X 5 1/4 inches for the back panel.  I cut out the largest flower from a stenciled piece and then the second smallest one for the sentiment in white.  Stamped the sentiment on the smaller flower. Layered it onto the card base and finished it off with a few sequins.

My final card is A2 sized and I used a black card base. I cut down the stenciled piece to 4 X 5 1/2 inch and adhered it to the card base.  I used a piece I smeared the stone drops on to cut out the hello sentiment from the die and a piece of black card stock for the shadow. I adhered it to the center of the card.  I used some black sequins and I used the sparkle pen all over the sentiment and shadow.

Good Morning and Happy Thursday!  Katie here from 2CrafyKaties to share with you TWO different cards using Newton’s Nook Designs “Vitamin Sea” stamp set & “Seashells” stencil and Stampendous “Cling Jellyfish” stamp !

First I have a set of six cards using Newton’s Nook Designs “Vitamin Sea” stamp set & “Seashells” stencil.

       Here is what I created:

These first 6 cards were inspired by video that Jennifer McGuire posted about a week ago.  I used my Gina K 3.5”x 3.5” wreath builder template with the Ranger Distress Oxide inks and stenciled the corners of the cards.  Next, I cut paper 3.75”x 3.75” and shaded the outside edges.  Lastly, I cut 4”x 8” cardstock for my card base.  I LOVE this technique that Jennifer shared with us in her video.  I am looking forward to using this technique in the future.

      Here is what I used:

      Scrapping for Less

Newton’s Nook Designs – “Vitamin Sea” stamp set

Newton’s Nook Designs – “Seashells” stencil

Ranger – Distress Oxide “Tumbled Glass” ink

Ranger – Distress Oxide “Carved Pumpkin” ink

Ranger Distress Ink – “Peeled Paint”, “Stormy Sky”, “Tea Dye”, & “Seedless Preserves”

Nuvo Glitter Drops – “White Blizzard”

      Gina K “Wreath Builder” template

My next card I struggled with.  I just wasn’t sure how I was going to put it together.  I started by stamping out the “Cling Jellyfish” from Stampendous and using my Scan n’ Cut to cut it out.  I then took the “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide ink and shaded the whole the jellyfish.  Then, I took the “Carved Pumpkin” and pressed the ink pad into an acrylic block to use as a paint pallet.  I then painted the jelly fish in “Carved Pumpkin” and highlighted the circles with the “White Blizzard” Nuvo Glitter Drops.  I then cut a card base 4”x 5.25” and “double stamped or 2nd generation stamping” the jellyfish (inking the image and stamping once on scrap paper and then stamping a second time on the card base).  Lastly, I cut a card base 4.25”x 5.5” and shaded with the “Carved Pumpkin” Distress Oxide ink.  Once all of this was done, I used foam squares to pop the jelly fish and assembled the card.

      Here is what I created:

    • My Favorite Things “You Gnome Me” is Super Adorable!

      Jul 30th

Hello and Happy Monday to You!  Tina here from Cards and Coffee Time:)  Today for my Design Team Project I am sharing a card I made with the super cute “You Gnome Me” stamp Set by MFT.  I love scene building and this set was perfect for it:)  I started my background with Distress Oxide Inks and a few stencils for the hillside and the brick wall.  The colors I used for the wall are Vintage Photo and Fossilized Amber.  For the Hillside I used Twisted Citron, shading lighter for the bottom hill and darker for the top.  I used masking paper to section off the wall and hills.  I colored in my images with copic markers and added a bit of shimmer with some gems from my stash.  This stamp set is available at the Scrapping for Less Shop, check it out!!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a Beautiful day!  Hugs, Tina
