Kim here with one of the sweetest stamp sets from Sunny Studio Stamps, Fall Kiddos. I had so much fun coloring up these little guys and gals. I stamped out all the images using Lawn Fawn ink in jet black which is alcohol marker friendly. Then I got busy coloring with my Copics.
I really thought all of my characters were going to go on the card until I started putting everyone in place and realized that just wouldn’t work unless I made them stand on each other and they needed room to jump and throw leaves! I picked out a few for this card and set my other little kiddos aside for another time. Once I got knew where I wanted them to go I was able to position my sentiment which I then stamped in Versafine Ink black onyx, used clear embossing powder on and heat set. (I even remembered to use powder buddy so the embossing powder wouldn’t stick where I didn’t want it, go me!)
It needed one more thing so I got out the fluffy cloud dies from Sunny Studio Stamps, cut out some clouds, inked them up just a bit with tumbled glass distress oxide ink and my sky came together. Added some bling with a Spectrum Noir sparkle marker in clear and adhered it to a card base using Lawn Fawn glue tube.
I just love the sentiment on this card from the Fall Kiddos stamp set and completely agree that playing is NEVER wasted time.
Thank you so much for stopping in and spending some time with us today. I hope you are able to find some time to play today.

I was once again inspired by a Jennifer McGuire video. This video is about “Bridge Cards.” This is a free-standing card that can display a scene or a message/sentiment. I used a cloud die to create a cloud like stencil and I used the Ranger Distress ink “Stormy Sky” to created clouds on the card base. I had pre-stamped my images and cut them out with my Brother Scan n’ Cut. After the card base was finished, I used the “Peeled Paint” Ranger Distress ink to create a grassy area. I colored all my images with copic markers (listed below) and then assembled.
Hey, everyone! It’s Lynnea and I’m so excited about the Scrapping for Less April 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit! The theme this month is Spring Critters and there are some SERIOUSLY cute products in this kit! Let’s see a little sneak peek into this kit!
I LOVE the Spring Critters theme in this kit – but I’m always a sucker for florals, so of course I was drawn to one stamp set in particular! I created a stamped patterned background to match one of the little empherma tags in the collection.
I hope you enjoyed this little peek! And I hope you’re excited for the full reveal of the April 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit! The full reveal happens Saturday, April 27th at midnight!
Kim here and I am sharing a card I made using Lawn Fawn’s Thanks A Latte stamp set. This stamp set is incredible! It’s one of those sets that just keeps on giving.
With this set alone you can create cards that celebrate Fall, Christmas, Winter, even Valentine’s Day. You can make a thank you card, a friend card, or a card for your love. I chose to make a card that doesn’t really need a category because I didn’t have anyone in mind when creating it. I just wanted to make something cute and Fall looking to add to my stash. I started off a bit intimidated with the thought of having to line up the inside of the mug but I need not be concerned because it was a breeze! I’m going to give you a quick run down of what I did in creating this card:
a bit of bling was added using Spectrum Noir Sparkle marker in clear
I pulled the patterned paper from my stash and I cannot remember the name of the collection but I do know it is from Doodlebug.
So that’s my card for today! I had fun making it while hanging out with the hubby and watching Netflix.Thank you so much for taking a peek at what I’ve been up to and I hope you have a fantastic day! I encourage you to take some time for yourself and make something!
