Hello Everyone! I’m continuing to work with my SFL March FOTM Card Kit. Today I aimed for another 4 cards 1 mini collection and to my surprise… I made 6! The ephemera in this collection helped aid with many choices for card making!
This ephemera piece seemed a little big for the front of the card, so I lined the fence pieces with the bottom of the card base and trimmed off the excess. I also chose the 3 remaining floral ephemera pieces and tucked them behind the fence using Ranger Multi Matte Medium and foam adhesive. I did a little stamp surgery and trimmed the Hello Spring Sentiment from the florals around it so I would just have the sentiment. I stamped it with black ink and used a mini scallop oval die to cut the sentiment out and added it to the card with foam adhesive. I then added all the pink, matte enamel dots from the collection onto the front.
This card was simple – once I figured out what I wanted to do! I used some purple paper from my stash and die cut it with a scallop border die and added it between the 2 patterns of paper. I then added 2 lady bugs directly onto the card and the middle one is popped upon foam adhesive. I took another sentiment from the stamp set, stamped it with black Ink and die cut that with a mini scallop circle die.
I love, love, love this bunny paper. I took the larger piece I had cut and lined it up on the right of the card panel. I also used a scrap of the purple grid pattern paper to add to the left. I used this large ephemera piece as the focal point and adhered it with foam adhesive. The sentiment is another one from the stamp set, this time I used a fishtail sentiment banner die.
How lucky this bunny paper had these 2 pieces left – 1 from each color. I stamped the bunny image from the stamp set with blue ink that matches the card base and added dash lines around the circle. I stamped the sentiment “Hi” also from the stamp set and added a few more pink, matte enamel dots.
This card was one of my favorites. I stamped the bunny image with a light pink ink and I didn’t wiped the stamp very well after using the blue so it created this really pretty purple color! I then used more of the pink ink and added some flicks of ink onto that corner. I added the 2 pieces of pattern paper (the purple piece with foam adhesive) and stamped the Hello Spring sentiment next to the bunny!
This card came out way better than I thought when I first started! I had the triangle piece already trim that way so I added that to the card and worked around that. I found 3 scraps that I trimmed down to follow the top border and triangular piece below. I added another pink bunny (with traces of blue) onto a piece of white card stock that I cut with a mini scallop circle die AND I added the remaining 2 enamel dots!
SIX CARDS – I was able to create another 6 cards for a total of 7. I had a few small scraps left and the stamp set to add to my stash.

Hello Everyone! For today’s blog post , I chose to grab Collection 3 (my favorite from the March kit) and try to make 4 cards. I managed to make FIVE!!
My inspiration for this collection was “1 Sheet Wonder” cards. I started by taking the pattern paper I had left and trimming them down to a few different sizes. Here are the cards…
Card 1 –
The pieces of pattern paper I have are not large enough to create a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel. I used the card base as a “mat” for the pattern paper and added one larger pieces and a small strip. I stamped the image from the stamp set with MFT Extreme Black Ink and cut with a circle die. I took a light blue card stock from my stash and used a mini scallop stitched die to cut a circle just a bit larger than the image and added that the the center of the pattern paper. I finished this card by adding a few sequins from the pack found in the Banana Split pack from this kit.
Card 2 –
I arranged smaller pieces of pattern paper onto a card base and then die cut the greenery die three times to add to the card. I added Distress Ink to the die cuts (Peeled Paint and Gathered Twigs). I chose the sentiment “Follow your Dreams” found in the stamp set. I used the Quickie Glue Roller Pen to adhere these pieces to the card base. (This glue does require an extra minute or 2 to dry).
Card 3 –
I used a longer piece of pattern paper and lined that up with the left side of the card. I then adhered a shorter, wider piece over the top. I trimmed a green pattern paper into a thin piece and used that between the 2 patterns. I did the same with the image on the front as I did in card one. I added that to the card with foam adhesive. This card was finished by adding 3 buttons from the pack of buttons that come from this kit to the upper left.
Card 4 –
For this card, I took a piece of pattern paper that was approximately 3×6 and cut it in half. I added 1 piece to the left and 1 piece to the right. In the middle, I added the remainder of the green pattern paper. I then took a square piece and trimmed it just a little to sit in a diamond shape in the center of the card. In the center of that card, I added a small, square piece. In the center of that I added the “Follow your dreams” sentiment on a small, mini scallop stitched circle die cut. I finished this card by adding sequins to the card with Ranger Muti Medium Matte adhesive.
Card 5 –
I call this the scraps of scraps card! I took a square card base that was from my stash and arranged the rest of the scraps. I used some thin peel off stickers from a previous card kit to add between the different patterns. I then added the image to the card in the same style as card 1 and added sequins.

Hello Everyone! Today I made a Thinking of your card using Collection 1 and the stencil from the SFL Flavor of the Month March Card Kit.
For the main panel I am using watercolor paper. I taped down the stencil over the paper and used Distress Ink in the colors Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, and Peacock Feathers. I added the “Thinking of you” sentiment from the stamp set found in Collection 1.
I then chose 2 pieces of ephemera from Collection 1 and added to the front of the card. I finished with adding some Sparkle to some of the butterflies.
