Happy Monday Everyone! How Cute is this scarecrow?! I’m LOVING this kit so much – it’s fall themed and I am crazy for fall! The pattern paper, along with the fence image, scarecrow image and sentiment are all peeks from Collection 3. The leaf image is part of the banana split pack (a peek for those who like the extra bag of goodies!)
For this card I’ve trimmed 2 pieces of pattern paper for my panel and did some paper piecing for the scarecrow’s overalls. I colored the fence and the remainder of the scarecrow with Copic Markers. On the overalls, I added some Nuvo Glitter Accents in the color Winter Cranberry and some Glossy Accents to scarecrow’s eyes. I cut out 3 leaves using the leaf die from the banana split pack and popped up the sentiment on foam adhesive right over those stems. I finished this card by adding Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush to the leaves.
Stop by each day for more Sneak Peeks and the reveal will be at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 (so stay up late Friday and be one of the first to see the full reveal).

Kim here @CardmakingBlonde bringing you a sneak peek for August’s Flavor of the Month card kit. One of the ingredients you will receive in this card kit is acetate sheets, so I used mine to create a shaker card. I’ll keep it simple because the big release is coming on August 29th at midnight and there will be a whole lot of hopping going on!
For the last several months the Flavor of the Month card kit has sold out. Don’t be left sad and empty handed! Make sure to sign up for your subscription (this way you also don’t have to try to stay up until midnight if you aren’t a night owl). Of course if you are a risk taker there will be the option to buy a one-time kit as well.

Today I used the papers from Collection 3 and the stamp set from Collection 4, mixing it up a bit. That’s what I like about this kit. Each Collection is a mini theme in itself but they can easily be intertwined.
I made a slider card using just simple punches. You can use Dies or just hand cut with a sharp blade and a ruler.
The boat and sail are made from a circle punch and a mini flag punch. The clouds are from My Favorite Things.
Happy Monday All! I thought I’d start the work week off with a chuckle; check out this rooster!!! He’s part of the Country Bubbles stamp set found in Collection 2 in the August 2020 Flavor of the Month Card kit! I love the vintage feel of the pattern paper in this collection and we get some ephemera!!
I decorated the inside of the card with 2 more pieces of ephemera from the collection and stamped one of the sentiments from the Country Bubbles stamp set and the bubble gum pack image, also found in that stamp set.
Stay tuned for more Sneak Peeks throughout the week and the full reveal on Saturday, August 29th at 12:00am (EST) — I know I’ll be staying up late on Friday to see all the inspiration from the Design Team!
Cardmaking Blonde bringing you a glimpse at one of the stamps in July’s Flavor of the Month card kit along with the sentiments on the stamp set as well. This image was perfect for making a one layer card! Since the majority of the content was so close together I only focused on shading in the larger areas like the ocean and the sky.
This month’s kit is called In The Tropics. If you want to be sure to get yours sign up for a subscription. The kit will reveal Saturday, July 25th at midnight EST. Should you choose to wait for the reveal get one in your cart as soon as you can before they’re gone!
Thanks for stopping in and I look forward to seeing your comment this weekend during our reveal hop.
Happy Monday! I’m sharing a sneak peek from the July 2020 SFL Flavor of the Month card kit. Collection 4 has such bright pattern papers that help show off the solid palm tree image found in the stamp set.
I trimmed down the Black Licorice card stock from the kit to create my card base. I also trimmed the Shocking Pink card stock for my card panel. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the orange and green pattern paper. I decided to stamp the image and sentiment onto the green pattern paper and adhere it over the orange pattern paper so they are going in opposite directions. I then added the 3 paper flowers from Collection 4 and used Blushing Red Nuvo Crystal Drops from the June 2020 card kit to the center of the flowers. Of course, I wanted to add a little sparkle so I grabbed some Diamond Stickles and added a little to the bottom of the palm tree image.
Thanks So Much for stopping by today and check back each day for more Sneak Peeks! The full kit reveal is on Saturday, July 25 at 12:00 a.m.
May’s Flavor of the Month card kit is just beautiful. From the paper to the extras in the Banana Split card kit so many items perfect for creating encouragement cards. I chose to feature the Weather Together collection because I LOVE rainbows! The paper speaks to my childhood memories and the sentiments are just what I am wanting to say to my friends and family at this time.
Starting out with Bristol Smooth cardstock and using Distress Oxide Inks in Weathered Wood & Stormy Sky to create the clouds with the stencil included in May’s Banana Split card kit. I created the image in the center of the card in the following order. (I have to talk myself through this every time I do it.) Because I wanted the cloud to show completely it was stamped first, then masked off, next the rainbow was stamped then masked off. The last step was to stamp the sun. Using Zig Clean Color Markers I colored in all the images. I then almost ruined this one layer card by deciding to add Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker and forgetting that the Zig markers are activated by water. Thankfully I realized it early on and avoiding some strong language in the craft room, ha ha ha! The sentiment was embossed with Navy embossing powder. Cut out the main scene with a stitched rectangle die and placed on a card front size patterned paper from the Weather Together patterned paper.
We have one more sneak peek before the release of the entire card kit so don’t miss out and if you want to ensure getting your hands on May’s Flavor of the card kit sign up here for a subscription. (Last month’s kits sold out.) Thanks so much for visiting us today on the blog. We look forward to seeing you for the hop this weekend. The blog hop goes live Saturday, May 30th at Midnight EST.
