Hi, friends! I’m here to share a little peek at the new February 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit from Scrapping for Less! Our theme this month is Whip it Up and it’s all about baking and all kinds of yummy goodies! This is one of my favorites! I love baking with my son and this kit gives me all the good feels!
This Whisky Business stamp set is included in the Banana Split level kit for February 2019. I love it so much! The font is gorgeous and I think it’s so punny! I wanted to have a simple background to really make the sentiment shine, so I watercolored some stripes with my Brea Reese watercolors and liquid glitter for a sparkly rainbow background. Then I stamped and heat embossed my image and sentiment with white embossing powder. This kit also comes with some loose glitter, so I used some liquid glue at the bottom of the whisk and added some of the glitter for an extra bit of shine!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this look at the February 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit from Scrapping for Less! The whole kit will be available on the 23rd! Be sure to come back then to see my unboxing video and more cards I’ve made with this kit! See you soon!
Hello! Crystal here with an adorable card using SugarPea Design’s Reading Friends… oh my goodness… this set is so sweet! Reminds me of when I was a kid… I was always reading! Now I’m always card making… lol… well, when I can!
I started off by stamping the image on white card stock with my go to ink – Memento tuxedo black – and then I colored and colored… I loved coloring this image! I used the following Copic markers ~ Tree – E55, E57, G14, G17; Girls – E0000, E000, E00, R20, E99, YR23, YR24, E11, E31, YR02, YR16, Y000, Y13, B000, B12; Books – N0, Y06, Y35, R14, R27, E55, E57, G12, G14, B000, B02, B24; Sky Background – B0000, B000. I die cut the image and then mount it on a die cut yellow scalloped rectangle. I set that aside.
I cut the diagonal rainbow paper from Lawn Fawn’s Really Rainbow paper pack and mat it on white card stock. I then adhered that piece to a blue card base. I cut the blue notebook paper from the same Really Rainbow paper pack and adhered it to the card. I then popped up the main image on the card.
I used the EK Tools Powder Tool Applicator on a scrap of white card stock to keep any static from messing up my stamped sentiment and then using VersaMark watermark ink I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed ultra fine black embossing powder. My last touch was to add a few sequins from my stash. So cute! I love how this turned out! I hope you do too!
Thanks for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Greetings friends and fellow crafters. LeeAnn here with a post using the March Flavor of the Month kit “All About Ice Cream” from Scrapping For Less.
To make this card I used Black cardstock as the base, and for layering. The rainbow pattern paper is from Pink and Main “Beach Babe” which is part of collection 3. The ice cream cone stamp is from the “Stamping For Less” exclusive in the Banana Split package.
The inks I used are as follows in order, all Memento Dew Drops.
LadyBug
Tangelo
Cantaloupe
Bamboo Leaves
Bahama Blue
Grape Jelly
I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black.
As of this post the Banana Split level is still available. Please check it out here and get yours while you can!!!
I hope you have enjoyed my project today. Please stop by the Scrapping For Less website and see the items I have highlighted as well as the other awesome items available.
Hello! Crystal here with a fun card for St. Paddy’s Day! Do you make cards for St. Patrick’s Day? I know it’s not a huge holiday so not too many people do… but I do! I’ve always found St. Patrick’s Day to be a fun day. And really, any excuse to make and send a card is great in my book!
Isn’t this leprechaun from Heffy Doodle’s Lucky Friends stamp set just the cutest?! I stamped him, the coins, and the cauldron using Memento tuxedo black ink and then colored them using copic markers {Skin – E50, E51; Beard – YR15, YR68; Shoes/Cauldron – N0, N3, N7, N10; Clothes – YG01, YG05, YG17; Coins – Y06, Y28}. I fussy cut those pieces and set them aside.
I blended some Tumbled Glass distress ink on the center of a white card base. I die cut a piece of patterned paper and cut down another piece of patterned paper and set them aside. I created the rainbow by die cutting leftover papers from past card kits using the Paper Smooches Rainbow die from the February card kit. I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut a banner and then set that aside. All that was left was to adhere all the pieces on the card front. This was such a fun card to make! I hope that you like it and that your St. Paddy’s Day is filled with fun… and not too much mischief!
Thanks for stopping by!
See ya next time.
