Hello hello! It’s Beth here today and I made two quick and easy cards using the May 2020 Flavor of the Month Kit, Lets Encourage One Another. Sometimes you just need quick and easy. I also used two of the sketches from this month’s sketch sheet. You can watch the full process HERE.
For my first card I used the Little Lady collection from the kit. And I used the Flavor of the Month Card Sketch from the sketch sheet. I stamped the daisy from the Little Lady stamp set, colored the centers and fussy cut them out. I also used one of the sentiments from that stamp set.
For my second card, I used the Weather Together collection. I also used the SFL Sketch Challenge #5 from the sketch sheet.
I love that rainbow sunburst pattern! I matted all of my pieces on black cardstock to help them stand out. I also used the teal ribbon that came in this collection to wrap around my pink piece on the left. I stamped my sentiment from the Weather Together stamp set and then used the pink embossing powder that came in my kit to heat emboss it. I finished it off with some sequins from the kit.
I hope you guys enjoyed my quick cards today and I hope you’re all having a crafty day!❤
Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with six cards all from Collection 3 of the February 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit! I love making quick cards and the ephemera and papers in this collection make it so simple!
Check out the video for all of the measurements and information!
The products I used from the kit were Collection 3, the cardstock, and the stencil that is part of the Banana Spilt Level. Outside items from my stash were white embossing powder and a sequin pack from a past kit! That’s all six from one collection!
Hello Everyone! Today I am creating four cards using gift tags from the Kaisercraft Silver Bells tag pack. I thought it would be fun to create four cards that vary in time and/or skill and each one is still a fabulous looking card! In no particular order; I’ll describe how I created each card.
I love adding glitter paper to my Holiday cards. This Sticky Back Silver Glitter paper by Darice comes in 8 1/2 x 11 sheets and is perfect for adding to your cards as a panel. While, I love the glitter paper; I didn’t want it to be the only layer so I created this snowflake panel to play off the snowflakes on the tag. I used a Snowflake embossing folder and Bristol Smooth card stock to create the layer and then added some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to make the snowflakes pop! The Silver Bells tag packs contain 6 each of 2 designs (12 total) and do come with twine but I chose to dig into my stash and find this really sparkly silver ribbon to use instead. I added the tag with some foam adhesive and all done!
This card is a great layout for needing a card in a pinch. The main panel is pattern paper. I always want to add some sparkle so I trimmed down some Sticky Back Silver Glitter paper by Darice for the left edge. I added some ribbon to the tag and added it to the card using foam tape. Easy, peasy!
I had to add a shaker card to the mix! This tag has so much going on I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to use pattern paper or just use the Gold Glitter paper and….. the Sticky Gold Glitter paper by Darice won! I cut the Gold Glitter paper with a rectangle die and then temporarily adhered a tag where I wanted the shaker window to be. I used a craft knife to cut the Gold Glitter paper around the tag to create my window.
Before removing the backing on the glitter paper, I put the piece on my card base where I wanted it and added the tag to the cardbase through the opening. I then took the backing off the glitter paper – added the acetate and foam tape all around the window opening (which was tricky since now the adhesive on the back was completely exposed). I thought I would like to add a bow to the bottom of my card base so I added the white and gold twine on the back so all I had to do was tie a bow in the front. Next, I sprinkled a sequin pack from my stash all over the tag and carefully laid my panel down.
The twine ended up being too thick to create a nice looking bow – I tried a knot and that seemed too big as well. So I ended up cutting it down and tucking it in behind the panel.
The last card I made involves a stencil and some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse! I taped down the dots stencil and used a palette knife to spread the mousse over the stencil. Once done, I removed the stencil and left the card to dry overnight. To finish the card – I used the piece of Sticky Gold Glitter paper that I cut out of the panel from the previous card an used it as a mat for one of the Silver Bells tags. I added the piece directly to my card front and voila!
