    • Hey There Pumpkin ~ September 2020 FOTM Card Kit ~ Sneak Peek

Posted at 9:00 am by Crystal O. Minkler
      Sep 25th

Hello there crafty friend! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie with the last sneak peek of the September 2020 FOTM Card Kit before the reveal and hop that starts at midnight tonight!! This Fall loving girl is in love with this kit!! It’s so stinkin’ cute and just perfect for all your Fall cardmaking needs!! Enough chit chat… let’s get to the card I created!

So… if you have followed my creative card making journey at all, you may know about my obsession with teal trucks. lol… I love them so! It’s really no surprise that I just had to frame this adorable paper and make it a feature of my card! I love it!
I layered the two beautiful papers from Collection Four and adhered a stitched scallop frame that I die cut from white card stock. I stamped the Hey There Pumpkin stamp with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers. I used the following Copic markers:
      ‘Hey There’ ~ E23
      ‘Pumpkin’ ~ BG01, BG10, BG45, BG57
      Pumpkin ~ YR15, YR21, YR27, YR68, E21, E23, E27
I then fussy cut around the image and sentiment and then adhered it to a white stitched oval. I then popped that up on the card and finished it off with a few enamel dots. You can check out my process video below…

I am just loving how this card turned out. It has me dreaming about cooler days with leaves changing colors and falling leaves. *sigh*  Do you love Fall too? Let me know in the comments what’s your favorite part of the Fall season.
Don’t forget about the reveal and hop tonight at midnight, but be sure to snatch up your card kit before then!! You do not want to miss out on this one!!
That’s it for me this week! I’ll see you in two weeks with an adorable set of cards using Collection Two from the card kit!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
      See ya next time.
      Inky Hugs,
      Crystal

I used Collection Two for my Card. I made a shaker card with the ephemera pieces.

The sequins are from the Banana Split extras

I used the two Dies from the Banana Split extras as well.

I hope you can join us this Saturday for the full reveal and blog hop. The design team will knock it out of the park!!

    • Fall Blessings with Fall Arrangement from Stampendous

Posted at 9:00 am by Kimberly Smith
      Sep 21st

      Hi Everybody!

Kim here today with a quick card and an image that does all the heavy lifting for you! I used the Fall Arrangement stamp from Stampendous and created a card a bit smaller than a typical A2 size. When I added the card to my card front there was some empty space left at the top that I wasn’t crazy about so I decided to make the card itself smaller.

      sflblogpost9212019.jpg

I really love this arrangement the flowers and the pumpkin are just so pretty that once I added the sentiment I didn’t feel it needed anything else and couldn’t believe how quickly this card came together for me. I am also toying with the idea of coloring this same image on Kraft cardstock, I think that will be really pretty as well.

      sflblogpost9212019b

This entry is short and simple but also was the making of this card and sometimes that is exactly what we need, just a few minutes to push the world away and make something pretty! I hope you get the chance to make something or do something that you enjoy today. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great rest of your weekend!

      Keep on crafting,

      Kim 🙂 kimberly_circle

    • Pumpkin Treat Pouches

Posted at 10:30 am by Stacy Tiedemann
      Sep 17th

Happy Fall Ya’all! It’s Stacy from CraftaholicMomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with a set of cute treat pouches. These would be great for gift cards, bookmarks or anything you’d like to put inside. They’d make perfect little gifts. Plus they are SUPER easy and fast to make using just one sheet of 6×6 paper.

First thing to do is take your paper and score it. I’m including a diagram I drew showing the score marks and cut marks.

Next take your scissors and cut off the two selected bottom portions.

If you want a fancy border on the top of your pouch go ahead and punch or die cut it now.

Next use your favorite tape runner or strong tape to add adhesive to the two 1/2″ sections.

Now close up the long side and bottom. Fold over the back panel and viola! You have a super fast and totally cute treat pouch.

Just decorate it! I added tags and stickers and leftover scraps to decorate mine. I used these adorable pumpkin paperclips by Doodlebug Designs to attach my tags to the pouches.

I made a matching bookmark to go with one of the pouches. The book mark measures 5 1/2″ by 2″. Rustic twine adds the perfect touch to the tags and bookmark.

All three of these pouches and bookmark took me less than 20 minutes to make. You could easily mass produce these for a class of kiddos, teachers or co-workers. I hope you give this super easy tutorial a try. I’d love to see what you make! Use hashtag #stacystreatpouch in your social media and I’ll show you some love!!

      Thanks for visiting,

      Products Used:

      Fiskars Scallop Border Punch

      Score Tape

      Rustic Twine
