    • Best Wishes – Featuring “Wild Thing” by Pink and Main

Posted at 7:00 am by Christine Patterson
      Aug 12th

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to share this card with you today. This Best Wishes card was created using the Wild Thing Stamp Set by Pink and Main.

I created the entire background using the 3 different leaf stamps. I randomly stamped the leaves with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and then covered the stamped images with clear embossing powder. I let the embossing powder cool then used the Arteza Real Brush Pens in a variety of green colors to color the leaves.

I stamped out the image and used clear embossing powder. I colored the image with Arteza Real Brush Pens and then fussy cut it out. I didn’t want to cover the background so I used vellum. I cut a piece of vellum with with a mini scalloped oval die. I stamped the sentiment “Best Wishes from all of us” on white card stock and then colored the piece in matching green ink.

    • Pink & Main ~ Happy Camper ~ I love you, S’more!

      Jul 19th

Hello there crafty friends! Crystal from Tawny Owl Paperie here with another look at the Happy Camper stamp set by Pink & Main. I’ve paired this adorable set again with the wonderful Galaxy Foil papers also by Pink & Main.

I can’t get enough of these Galaxy Foil papers!! They just make a card so quick and easy and those shiny stars are so much fun! Today, my design also includes a fun Campfire Sticker by Jolees… isn’t that fun?! It’s a pretty big sticker and I struggled a bit with what to do with it, but I think it makes for a fun card with this bear holding marshmallows getting ready to make some s’mores. It’s hard to tell in the picture but his little marshmallow on top is actually on fire… which I imagine with this huge campfire it would be!! I used the following Copic markers for the bear ~ E000, E33, E35, E37, YR15, R20, BG11, BG13, B95, B97

You can see some of the glittery goodness in the fire with this picture.

To finish off the card, I popped up the bear and the sentiment that was stamped with VersaMark watermark ink on black card stock and heat embossed an ultra fine white embossing powder.

Hope you enjoyed my card for today… but hold on, I have a bonus card!!

When I had created my card earlier this month using the Hootiful stamp set by Heffy Doodle… you can check out that card here —> Hootiful For You-Hoo card…  I had stamped and colored a few extra images so I thought I’d use those for this super quick card. All I did for this card was blend some Chipped Sapphire distress ink directly on my white card base. I started blending in the center and worked my way out giving a nice fade to the color. Such a quick card and one that I can send a friend to wish them a hootiful day!!

Now that’s all for me today! I sure hope you liked my cards!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See ya next time.

      Inky Hugs,

      Crystal

    • “Congrats on the Hatchling” – Baby Card featuring Pink and Main’s “Fired Up”

      May 7th

Hello Everyone! Christine from Pattercrafts here with a baby card using Pink and Main’s “Fired Up” stamp set and the “Dragon Tales” stencil by Brett Weldele.

To create this background I used Peeled Paint, Chipped Sapphire and Concord Grape distress ink on watercolor paper. I cut the panel down with a stitched, rectangle die. Once the ink dried, I put the “Dragon Tales” stencil by Brett Weldele over the top and tapped Delicata Silvery Shimmer pigment ink all over.

I stamped out the dragons from the stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with copic markers and fussy cut them.

I chose the sentiment “congrats on the hatchling” and stamped that with the Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink on a white card stock I cut with a fishtail banner die.

Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoy and get inspired.

    • Pink & Main ~ Pretty Jars

Posted at 9:00 am by Crystal O. Minkler

      Hello crafty peeps!

Crystal here with a lovely card using the Pretty Jars stamp and die bundle set by Pink & Main. Oh my goodness… I absolutely love this bundle!! The stamps are so beautiful and the dies make cutting out this intricate floral stamp super easy peasy!!

I still had the beautiful Echo Park Spring Fling papers on my desk so I decided to use them again for this card. I cut strips of a few different papers to create the pattern underneath the focal image. The background greenish/blue paper is also from the paper pad.

I stamped the flowers twice because I wanted to fussy cut the flowers to pop them up on the focal image for a bit more dimension. Working with colors that coordinated with the papers, I colored both sets of the flowers. I used the following Copic markers ~ RV00, RV21, Y13, Y35, YG11, YG23.

I then die cut the flowers and fussy cut the one set… cutting it on the black line. I colored the outer edge of the fussy cut flowers with a Memento tuxedo black marker to clean up the edges and then I popped them up on the other flowers.

I then adhered the flowers to a white die cut stitched oval and popped the oval piece up on the card. I knew I wanted to use the ‘sweet friend’ sentiment from the set but I wanted to add a little somethin’ somethin’ so I pulled out the ‘hello’ die from Pink & Main that was included in a past card kit and die cut three times out of white card stock. I colored one of the die cut hellos with Copic markers in an ombre style and then adhered all the die cut layers. I stamped the ‘sweet friends’ sentiment on white card stock and then die cut it with a banner die and layered it on a strip of pink paper from the Spring Fling paper pad that I also die cut with the same banner die.

In retrospect, I kinda wish I had stamped the ‘sweet friend’ sentiment in a dark pink… but at the time, I was packing my studio and my supplies were limited. I am still very happy with how this card turned out! The design is definitely one that would work to use up some of those scraps of patterned paper that we all have laying around!!

You can find the Pretty Jars stamp & die bundle in the shop!

Thank you friends for checking out my blog post!

      See ya next time.

      Inky Hugs,

      Crystal

      Hello Everyone!

I am here with yet another project for Scrapping for Less! Featuring Pink and Main – Fired Up! Stamp Set. Dragons are still hanging around celebrating!  This time it is for a new arrival to the family!

I used Archival Jet Black Ink to stamp all my images and colored them using my Faber Castel Polychromos. Added a touch of Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide with my Nuvo Blender Brush to help highlight the sentiment.

For the presents I used my white gel pen to add some doodle patterns to help break them up a little bit.

      ENJOY!

    • Let’s Get ‘Fired Up!” with Pink and Main…

      Hello Everyone!

I am here with another project for Scrapping for Less! The Pink and Main – Fired up! stamp set is just too cute! This stamp set can be used for both birthday and new baby celebrations… We all have known for some time dragons have magical powers and this stamp set proves just that! These dragons bring a smile to anyone’s face!

I stamped my images and just knew I wanted to pull out my Prismacolor pencils! I am a colored pencil girl by heart… and I love the range of shades you can get by using just one pencil! I always have to have dimension on my cards, even when I stamp directly onto my card design base, so the balloons were adhered using foam squares!

I also used pattern paper from the Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow pack to accent the focal panel!  Now we have a card to start any party celebration!

I hope you enjoyed this design and stick around for so much more to come!
