I love the different look you get by using the same color distress oxides on white and black cardstock!

Be sure to check out the video HERE!

Both of these are A2 size cards or 4 1/4 X 5 1/2.  I blended Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Wilted Violet and for the white card, I used Mermaid Lagoon and Faded Jeans for the body.  After I blended the oxides over the stencil on the white card I cut out a mask so I could add the blues to the body.  I used a couple different gel pen colors for the beak area but really didn’t like how that turned out, I finally went over it in black gel pen.  I added a sentiment to a white strip that was the same width as the card. and I used the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen on every feather and the body. For the black card after I blended the oxide inks over the stencil I used clear shimmer spray over the entire card and the added a fishtailed banner the same width as the card with a sentiment.
