After I stamped the image with Hero Arts Intense Black ink I colored the cake, Bianca, and the tray with Copic Markers. Once I finished up with that I used Nuvo Dropsand Stickles to color in the icing, filling and the little cherry on top of the piece Bianca is holding. I was little worried the Nuvo Drops/Stickles might run and bleed into the rest of the card! It didn’t and loved how it turned out.
I cut out the image with my Scan N Cut and then cut out the inside areas with an xacto knife. Pick out my papers, decided on the design, and stamped a sentiment on a banner withVersaFine Onyx BlackInk from the Paper Smooches “Salutations” set. Finally, I added a few sequins to finish off the card. Check out the video below for all the details!

Hello There! It’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up on the Scrapping for Less blog today. I’m writing from all the way “Up North”. I live in the Southeast corner on Minnesota and every summer we take a summer vacation trip all the way up to Northern Minnesota. If we were to drive it in one day it would take about 8 hours straight. But we are traveling with my older parents-in-law and my special needs daughter so we take our time and drive it over 2 days.
I generally take some crafting supplies with me, as there is a lot of sitting around relaxing down time. I would go bonkers if I couldn’t craft every few days. Do you feel like that too?
Today I have a back to school card I made using the Heffy Doodle Teacher’s Pet stamp set and Teacher word die. So if you’re interested click on the links to purchase these two items, hurry, there’s a limited quantity available.
I colored the stamps up with my Copic markers and used Gloss White Crystal Nuvo Drops on the teacher’s pearl necklace. I used my Brother Scan N Cut electronic die cutting machine to cut out the stamped images. The paper collection is from the Doodlebug Designs Back to School 6x6 paper pad.
Click on the images below to take you directly to the Scrapping for Less store if you’re interested in picking up these adorable stamp and coordinating dies.
Today I have a trio of cards that I made from the So Jelly Mini collection from June 2017 Flavor of the Month Card Kit. Teresa and Kim have several of these mini collections left over and so I thought it would be a good time to dig it out of my stash and give it some new life. It needed to breathe again. Plus it goes fantastically well with this month’s At the Beach Flavor of the Month Card Kit that we just revealed two days ago. You still have time to hop along with the reveal and enter into the Rafflecopter drawing, by clicking here.
