Hello Everyone and Happy Monday! I’m sharing a Thank You card today using the SFL November Flavor of the Month Collection 2! The paper in the Thanks So Much paper pad are beautiful; I love the color palate.
I stamped one of the sentiments from the Thanks So Much stamp set onto a piece of pattern paper. I trimmed that down creating a fish tail on the right side. I decided to add 3 more pieces of pattern paper trimmed the same way under the sentiment.
I layered the White Organza ribbon from the collection onto the card and added the blue ribbon from the banana split pack over the top. I finished the card using 3 enamel dots from the collection in the lower right hand.
Happy Monday Everyone! Today I’m sharing a sneak peek from Collection 3 from the November 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit!
I think this sentiment is sweet and funny and I it describes my family perfectly! I loved the bright pink found in this collection so I used the pink card stock found in the kit for my card base and mat on the middle piece of pattern paper. The stripped pattern paper was a nice break from all the pink. For my sentiment piece, I used a mini scallop circle die to cut the mat my sentiment is on from the main pattern paper. I stamped the sentiment with a matching pink ink. I finished my card with enamel dots and paper flowers, both found in this collection.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and stay tuned all week for more sneak peeks!!
Hello Everyone! This is Christine from Pattercrafts taking another look at the November Flavor of the Month Card Kit. Today I am sharing four more cards I made using this kit.
Card 1, Collection 1
In my kit, collection 1 I had this really pretty piece of ephemera. Since it is such a large embellishment, I thought is would make a great focal point for a shaker card. I used a circle die cut from my stash in a similar size to cut the circle from the glitter paper. I then adhered a piece of acetate in the window area with liquid glue and put it aside to dry. Once dry, I added foam tape to the panel and grabbed the sequins from the collection. I put the sequins over the ephemera piece then placed my front panel down over the top. I looked through my ephemera again and found this sentiment “Always Yours”. I trimmed that down, added a little pink ink to the edges and finished the card with a few sequins.
Card 2, Collection 2
I LOVE this “Hello” tag. It’s simple and beautiful. I wanted to make the tag stand out so I found a piece of solid, light pink paper from the 6×6 paper we receive in the collection and cut that down with a large, stitched rectangle die. I also wanted just a little extra detail so I cut this “lace” piece from another piece of pattern paper and adhered that to the side. The ribbon from the collection was added to the tag and the entire piece was put on the card front with a piece of foam tape. I used a few sequins from the collection to finish this card.
Card 3, Collection 3
This Sugar and Spice Santoro Gorjuss Girl is simply adorable!! I stamped her with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored her with Arteza Real Brush Pens. This piece was then cut with a mini scalloped oval die and place over the floral paper. Wink of Stella was used on her dress and a few sequins finish this card.
Card 4, Collection 4
I wanted to make a 4×4 card showcasing the hat from the stamp set. I stamped the hat on a scrap of pattern paper and also a solid gray piece of paper from the collection. I used the solid black side of one of the papers received in the kit and another solid mustard color for the 2 stripes. The sentiment “So Dapper” was stamped with versamark ink and heat set with white embossing powder. (Hint, when embossing this paper – lift the stamp up slowly so your not pulling the ink up with you. It took a few times to get this just right but so glad it worked.) I used the white, enamel dots from the collection to finish this card.
Hello Everyone!! Christine with Pattercrafts here with a Sneak Peek of the Flavor of the Month November Card Kit. Today I made this card using Collection 4. The stamp set and the pattern paper are both from Scrapping for Less – Exciting!!
I stamped and fussy cut the hat and colored with E34 and E39 copic markers. The stripe on the hat was fussy cut from a piece of leftover pattern paper that I used on the card front.
