Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with these super simple super fast Christmas Pocket Cards! I also do some foiling without a laminator!
I am so excited to still be doing this series this year, definitely helped me to have my cards ready without having to scramble during the holidays. So join us each month and hopefully it will inspire you to work through them all year!
This card is a 5 1/2 inch square card base. I used the largest heart die and cut it out the abstract stencil, then I used the second to the smallest heart for the sentiment that I cut out from white cardstock, I cornered the right edge of the card base. I stamped the sentiment on the small heart. I adhered the heart onto the card base in the center and then popped up the sentiment heart in the middle of the large heart. to finish it up I used some sequins.
This card I made similar to the first except its A2 size or 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch card base in pink and I used a piece of pattern paper that I cut down to 4 X 5 1/4 inches for the back panel. I cut out the largest flower from a stenciled piece and then the second smallest one for the sentiment in white. Stamped the sentiment on the smaller flower. Layered it onto the card base and finished it off with a few sequins.
My final card is A2 sized and I used a black card base. I cut down the stenciled piece to 4 X 5 1/2 inch and adhered it to the card base. I used a piece I smeared the stone drops on to cut out the hello sentiment from the die and a piece of black card stock for the shadow. I adhered it to the center of the card. I used some black sequins and I used the sparkle pen all over the sentiment and shadow.

To create this card I started with an A2 size cardbase or 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inches. I used Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. I stamped the images I wanted to use with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut to cut the images out.
I cut the glitter paper for the front panel to 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inches and cut out a 3 1/4 inch circle towards the top center of the card and then cut out another circle from white card stock with a 3 1/2 inch die.
I used a cloud stencil, Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks to create the background sky on the 3 1/2 inch circle. I left the bottom of the circle white. Then I used one of the tree stamps and stamped a few trees with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.
I adhered all of the tree images to the 3 1/2 inch circle panel and popped the mouse images up with some foam dots. I adhered the 3 1/2 inch circle to the top of the card base and then adhered the glitter paper to the card base lining up the circles. I stamped the sentient “Cold Hands” from Hero Arts Ink in Moss on a white strip of card stock. I cut the banner down to 4 1/4 X 3/4 inches and adhered it towards the bottom of the card with some foam tape.
To finish it off I stamped on the inside of the card the sentiment “Warm Heart”, as well as, the image of the mittens with the string of them creating a heart. I colored in the mittens with copic markers.
I colored the images on the last two cards with Studio 71 by Darice alcohol markers. I had heard good reviews on them and decided to pick up a set with 48 markers. Check out the video for my thoughts.
The first card is an A2 size 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 and I used “Tumbled Glass” Distress Oxide Ink to create the background on a 4 in. square piece of white cardstock. For the stamping I used Hero Arts Charcoal ink and the Gina K “Wreath Builder“. I stamped the sentiment with Brutus Monroe embossing ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I placed the panel on a black card base and finished it off with a few sequins, clear enamel dots, Ranger “Glossy Accents” on the turtle shells, and a Sakura “Black Glaze Pen” on the turtles eyes.
My second card is a 4 1/2 square card. I used all of the small images with the wreath builder to create the background on a 4 in piece of white cardstock. The inks I used were Hero Arts Mulled Wine, Moss, Soft Cantaloupe, and Lawn Fawn Merman. I added two of the turtles I colored. For the card base and sentiment strip I used a burnt orange piece of card stock from my stash. I stamped the sentiment with VeraFine Onyx Black ink and I finished the card by adding glossy accents to the turtle shells and for the eyes the glaze pen.
My final card I used the Scrapping for Less “Water Patterns” 6X6 paper pad to create a background along with a piece of kraft cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and I heat embossed it with black embossing powder. I placed the colored images around the background and finished it with glossy accents to the turtle shells, a Spectrum Noir sparkle pen on the small images and for the eyes the glaze pen.
Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with a card made using a stamp set from Sunny Studios “Home Sweet Gnome”! I love gnomes so I was super excited to be able to make a card with this set! I also used the Knock on Wood Lawn Fawn paper pad. You can head over to Scrapping for Less to pick up yours at a great price. Be sure to check out my video for all the details HERE!
To make this card I did a lot of masking! A LOT!
I stamped and masked the images on the largest die cut circle I have about 4 inches. Next, I used distress oxides, a cloud and hillside stencils to add some color to the background. I colored the images with Copic markers and then used a smaller smaller circle die on the front panel. I popped the panel up with some foam tape and put it over the larger circle directly on to the card. I cut a 1/2 inch strip for the sentiment and then added sequins from a past SFL FOTM card kit and a purple bow from some ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Everyone! I am here today using he LaLa Land Crafts stamp set “Dream Come True” you can pick up this set over at Scrapping for Less. When I saw the sentiment “You are my dream come true” I knew I wanted to have the knight dreaming of the princess. Be sure to check out the video HERE for all the details.
I am making an A2 size card so started out stamping the images on to a card panel that was 5 1/4″ X 4″. I used a cloud die to create a mask for a thought bubble. Then I masked the images and used distress oxides to make the background using a cloud and hillside stencil. I colored the images with Copic markers and heat embossed the sentiment on to a sentiment strip. I used my cropodile to round the edges of the panel and the two edges at the opening of the card and added Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for the little dots going to the thought bubble. I finished it off using the Nuvo Sparkle Pen on the Princess crown and dress and also on the Knights plume, shield and the flag and a few puffy gold sticker dots.
