Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with a card from the January 2019 Flavor of the Month Card Kit! This was a fun coffee-themed kit and I love this Newton’s Donut stamp that was part of Collection Two and the papers and ephemera were SFL Coffee Time from Collection One.
This is an A2 sized or 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inches. I cut a back panel to 4 X 5 1/4 inches, a strip that was 1/2 X 5 1/4 inches, and oval from a Spellbinders nesting set.
I stamped the Newton image with Momento Oynx Black Ink and colored it with Copic markers. I layered the card together and picked a few of the ephemera pieces. I popped up the oval with some fun foam and I popped up the two coffee mugs with for foam tape. I finished off the card with a few sequins from Collection One.
Hello there crafty friends! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie with a sweet birthday card for a little one in your life… who doesn’t love a sweet dragon?! I just adore this one from the Dream Come True stamp set by La-La Land Crafts!!
As I mentioned in my blog post last Friday for Scrapping for Less, I played some more with the fun Nuvo Chalk White Stone drops for my card today but this time I painted with the drops. I added a few drops… actually more like blobs… on my Glass Media Mat and then with my paint brush painted over a piece of pink card stock. For my other piece of pink card stock, I added drops directly on the card stock and painted directly on that piece. Both applications of the Stone drops for this technique gave me basically the same results, but I didn’t have to clean up my Glass Media Mat for the latter.
While I let the painted Stone drops dry, I stamped the sweet dragon onto white card stock with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored it in with the following Copic markers ~ B0000, B00, B12, V01, V04, V20. I then fussy cut the dragon and cleaned up the edges with a Memento tuxedo black marker. A little tip for those of you trying this trick for the first time… be sure to color the edges of the fussy cut image from behind so if the marker slips it marks up the back of your image rather than the nicely colored front.
I set the dragon aside and die cut the now dry Stone drop painted card stock with the Puffy Clouds die from My Favorite Things.
The clouds turned out just as I had hoped… so much fun texture and dimension!! I love them!
I then trimmed down my white card front to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8″ and die cut it with a stitched in and out circle die. I laid that on top of my white card base and traced around the inner circle lightly with a pencil. Now I had an idea of where to blend my Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink for my clouds in the background. I blended the clouds over the Mini Cloud Edges stencil from My Favorite Things being careful to stay within the traced circle… just extra careful so my white edges on the card base stayed white. I then erased the pencil marks on the card base and adhered a few of the pink Stone drop painted clouds. I adhered the top white card stock piece with the die cut stitched circle and then adhered the remaining clouds. I popped up the sweet dragon using foam tape and stamped the Make a Wish sentiment using my Stamp Platform to ensure I got a nice crisp inking!
And then I got to thinking it would be fun to add some drops but not the Stone drops… so I grabbed the Sea Breeze Jewel drops and Fairy Wings Dream drops and went a little crazy! But I really love the different looks of all of the drops on this card! I sure hope that I’ve inspired you to think out of the box a bit and use those Nuvo drops for other techniques!
Hey, everyone it’s Lynnea! I have another under the sea themed card for you using fun products you can grab in the Scrapping for Less shop! This time I’m making a super fun shaker card! And there’s a video!
I LOVE the My Favorite Things Ocean View Porthole die and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make a shaker! My shaker is quite simple, but for a step by step tutorial make sure you watch my video below! I started by picking out some of my favorite papers from the Echo Park Vitamin Sea paper pack. I wanted to keep the patterns masculine. I always have a shortage of cards for guys in my stash and these papers and stamps are perfect for guys!
Once I picked out my papers I die cut the waves patterned paper with the Ocean View Porthole die – you could just use a circle die, but I wanted to make sure that my window was perfectly sized, so I just used the die. I adhered some acetate to the back of my waves paper and used foam tape to make a circular “well” at the back of my patterned paper and filled it up with sequins and little anchor pieces. I used another piece of patterned paper to seal up my shaker. I die cut the Ocean View Porthole die three times from heavy white cardstock and stacked them together for dimension and then glued them onto the front of my acetate.
To finish off my card I stamped the cute little shark and sentiment from the La-La Land Crafts Jaws Because stamp set. I colored him up with alcohol markers and used a dotting technique for texture. I trimmed him out and added him to the front of my shaker with the sentiment strip. That’s it! Super simple and super cute!
Good Morning and Happy Thursday! Katie here from 2CrafyKaties to share with you TWO of my latest card using La-La Land Craft’s “Best Mates” stamp set and Doodle Bug Design 6x6 paper pad “Anchors aweigh”. But first I wanted to let you know that sometimes in life you need a break. I took a much needed 3-week break from all of my design teams. I am back and I feel refreshed and ready to create, so much so in fact that I have TWO cards to share with you!
Here is what I created:
I am a sketch girl.
I LOVE sketches.
I knew I was going to use this stamp set and this paper pad for my project. As I was looking at different sketches, I came across Tuesday’s Morning Sketch that posted on 06/12.
I knew this sketch would work! I had already stamped out the images (multiple times in fact) and cut them out using my Scan n’ Cut (LOVE this machine!) Next I looked through the paper pad to find two different types of paper to use. I ended up finding 2 sets of 2, so I figured, why not make two cards? Once I figured out my paper I started coloring, followed by cutting my paper to the right size, stamping my sentiment, and then gluing everything down.
Hi it’s Lynnea! I am so excited that the theme for June at Scrapping for Less is under the sea! Underwater critters are my favorites! I created a simple watercolor background! I hope you love it! Check out the video at the end of the post!
Don’t you just LOVE the Jaws Because stamp set from La-La Land Crafts!? Seriously so cute! I picked out some of my favorite images and stamped them repeatedly across my card with the help of my MISTI.
Watercolor is my favorite way to color, so I grabbed my Sakura Koi palette and started painting! I love the look of defined shading with watercolor! I started with a light layer of color and came back in with some darker color for shading.
I added black watercolor spatters to the background for texture and a simple white heat embossed sentiment to finish my card. Here’s my how-to video!

Hi crafty peeps! Crystal here with an adorable card using Unicorn Marci that I’m sharing for the 2019 Spring / Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
I blended the background with distress oxide inks and had a lot of fun watercoloring Unicorn Marci and the coffee cup. I popped up the fussy cut images on my stenciled background that I had die cut with a wonky stitch die and adhered to a white card base. I then stamped the sentiment… a combination of the sentiment with the Unicorn Marci stamp set and a masked sentiment from the Mini Marci with Coffee stamp set. Love how it turned out! You can check out my blog for more details. Happy Hopping!
LeeAnn has some Coffee fun using Pink and Main’s “Mer-Mazing” Stamp Set and sentiment panel from Echo Park “Coffee” paper pack. Colored with Alcohol Markers, with the background using Coffee and Mocha to appear like spilled coffee. Have an AWESOME day.

I used the rolling pin die from LaLa Land Crafts and die cut it from some full stick post it notes. Here’s my tip! I used a stack of 5 post it notes so that I didn’t have to die cut a bunch of the rolling pins – I just kept the post it notes held together and die cut the rolling pin 4 times from the stack of post it notes. This gives me 20 die cut masks from just 4 passes through my Big Shot! Yay for saving time! I easily peeled the layers apart and pressed them onto a sheet of Bristol smooth cardstock. Then I blended on some Distress Inks – Spun Sugar at the top, then Picked Raspberry, and Ripe Persimmon at the bottom. I kept the masks in place and flicked on some water. When I removed the masks I was over the moon with how pretty this background is! I used the Baking Marci stamp set and stamped the sentiment three times onto black cardstock, added some shimmer to the sentiments strips, and popped them up with foam tape.
I used the silver hearts from Pink & Main and scattered them across my background to complete my card! I hope you’ll watch my video below!
