I love making all different types of cards my favorite is interactive cards, but sometimes I like to make a few all at one time to have on hand, especially masculine cards and I thought this kit was perfect for that.
Kim here from Cardmaking Blonde with this week’s fourth sneak peek for January’s Flavor of the Month card kit. This month is “All About the Boys” and if buffalo plaid isn’t a great fit for masculine cards I don’t know what is! I am excited to share today’s card with you and also tell a quick story of some confusion I had and maybe clear it up for you all too in case you have the same question I did. So here is my card which I created using collection two “Buffaloed”.
When I got my kit in the mail and opened and was pouring over all the collections I came to this collection and read the sentiments and thought “What in the world does Buffaloed mean?” I’m getting accustomed to not knowing new songs, new slang, and new actors/actresses. I thought I had new slang to learn but nope turns out it’s just a word I wasn’t familiar with. It means to be intimidated, so the way I used it on this card is saying “Don’t get buffaloed (intimidated). Stand your ground! Have a wild birthday!” Perfect for someone who may be facing a milestone birthday I think.
That’s it for this sneak peek I hope you find some inspiration and maybe a new vocabulary word 😉 . Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to check out this card. Don’t forget it’s sneak peek week so check out the other peeks from previous days and come back tomorrow for the last one before the big reveal!
