Hi, it’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up today with a card I made using the July Flavor of the Month Card Kit. I used the pineapple stencil and the watercolor paint palette from the Banana Split goodie pack.
This stencil works perfectly with the pattern paper also in the kit. I took one of the pineapple stamps from one of the collections and stamped on top of the dried painted stenciled pineapples to give it some unique detail.
With the left over scraps of paper I made a matching gift tag.
I hope this gives you more inspiration when you are working with your In the Tropics July Flavor of the Month Card Kit.
Thanks for visiting,
Hello crafters, so glad you are here!
There are times that life just gets in the way…recently my hubby and I bought a house and moved. Three weeks ago to be exact and as it so often does, my craft room was the last room in the house to get any attention. Not for lack of love, that’s for sure but no matter what is going on in life we all have to eat, bathe (hopefully frequently, ha!) and sleep so my craft room is still in disarray.
I tell you all of this to make a point…I was able to grab my kit and a few minimal supplies: stamp tool, trimmer, liquid glue and scissors and still come up with a super cute card to give a friend in need of encouragement. Hopefully this little story will encourage you to make some time for yourself even if your supplies are minimal and life is taking over your space and your time.
July’s Flavor of the Month kit sold out (yay!). If you would like to ensure that you get next month’s kit sign up for a subscription that way you won’t miss a thing!
Thanks so much for coming to the blog today, I hope you find some time for yourself and get to do that thing you love doing!
Just keep creating,
Kim 🙂

Hi all!
Cardmaking Blonde bringing you a glimpse at one of the stamps in July’s Flavor of the Month card kit along with the sentiments on the stamp set as well. This image was perfect for making a one layer card! Since the majority of the content was so close together I only focused on shading in the larger areas like the ocean and the sky.
This month’s kit is called In The Tropics. If you want to be sure to get yours sign up for a subscription. The kit will reveal Saturday, July 25th at midnight EST. Should you choose to wait for the reveal get one in your cart as soon as you can before they’re gone!

Just keep creating,
