Hi all! A quick sneak peek of October’s Flavor of the Month! I am so ready to get into Christmas card making mode! Ok, I’ll admit it I’m already there (been there about a month now). This coming Saturday our Flavor of the Month Card kit for October will be revealed! Don’t forget that if you want to be sure to get one sign up for your subscription.
Hi all! I hope you are finding yourself easing into a wonderful weekend. I am up today with a couple of cards I made with September’s Flavor of the Month Kit. I was so excited to get my hands on this kit and I had to MAKE myself step away from it because you know, life.
As soon as I opened my kit I dug into the Frightful Collection. I LOVE HALLOWEEN! I wish it was a tradition to send Halloween cards to friends and family like it is to send Christmas cards because Halloween cards are so much fun to make. This card came together so quickly with the cute little die cut characters included in the collection. I had such a hard time choosing which one to use, then I had a group and then I let the sketch dictate who made it on the card. For the card below I used the Paper Play Sketches #52.
The next card is from the Cozy Fall Collection. I pulled the paper out and looked it over and immediately I wanted to paper piece that sweater stamp…and then I realized that wasn’t going to work because it is a stamp stamp. Then I thought..ooh yes I can so I traced the stamp and paper pieced it anyway. I love it when what you see in your head works out! Sketch #194 from Operation Write Home was the one used for the card below. Often when card making I find myself always reaching for the same ink to stamp a sentiment but this time I reached for blue ink and I knew it had been too long since I had changed things up because of the level of excitement I felt at using another color.
I am looking forward to digging into the other two collections which I’ll post those cards on my instagram account at @cardmakingblonde. Below will be the links to the Double Dip and Banana Split kits which are down into the single digits so get one while you can!
Thanks so much for stopping in and checking out September’s Flavor of the Month Kit “Fall is Coming!” and have a great weekend!
Hello to all our crafty friends! Hoping you are having a great summer. It is coming to a close here in sunny Central Florida…Well, not weather wise but the kids have one more week of summer and then school is back in. Today, marks my 8th year of not returning to a school building for Back to School Teacher week. While I nostalgic about the fresh and new feeling for a brand new school year…I get to enjoy that experience EVERY SINGLE MONTH as we begin a new theme on the website.
our design team will focus this month on “In the Wild” there will be several interpretations of that statement
our monthly sale this month will be: 25% off all Scrapping for Less paper pads.
Don’t forget each Monday there will be a sneak peek on the subscription slider giving a hint of the card kit.
Don’t forget about our Daily Deal…each and every day
Flavor of the Month News:
I would like to offer add-ons to subscription card kits. I have no way of allowing this without charging you additional shipping though. This is the work around I have come up with. Should you wish to purchase add ons to your subscription kit, place the order on the website IF all will fit and there are no additional shipping charges we will refund the shipping you paid on your add-on order.
We are now offering cardstock packages of 12 sheets (2) of each color of the same colors that are in the monthly card kit.
Make sure you check out our Past Kits and Collections section to see if you are missing any of the kits we still have for sale.
We have made huge strides in expediting the shipping process. We are continuing to make changes that will make the shipping time frame go even smoother.
In an effort to assure that your cardstock arrives unharmed we are taking an extra precaution and adding a DO NOT BEND OR FOLD stamp on every package. If you have experienced this issue please speak to you postal worker as well so they will be aware that this package should not be forced to fit in your mail container.
Ya’ll have spoken and we have listened. Turns out your favorite levels are the Double Dip and Banana Split. Therefore, beginning in January 2018 we will be offering Double Dip and Banana Split Kits. (This will help shipping get faster too.)
Teresa will be reaching out to those of you who are currently subscribed to the Single Scoop or Deluxe Kits in order to find out what you would like to do going forward.
A new perk for subscribers in lieu of the free stamp. Once a month you will receive an email with a code for a 5% discount on one purchase that month to scrappingforless.blog. *Flavor of the Month kits are excluded from this offer. So please make sure we have your correct email address for us to send your code each month!
We want to take this time to let you know how much we appreciate all of our customers for helping 2 gals see a dream come true. And it also would not be possible without our amazing Design Team. We are planning some fabulous kits for 2018! We hope you enjoy each and every kit!
Thanks for entrusting us with your crafty dollars,
Kimberly and Teresa
