Hello Everyone! Today I made a “Bee-lated” birthday card featuring the “Oh Boy” stamp set by Doodlebug and the “Ice Cream Celebration” pattern paper pad by SFL.
This stamp set is very versatile. It has sentiments for “Bee-lated Birthday”, “Hello”, a little encouragement with “snailed it” or say thank you with “you’re tweet” and more. I also love that this set has 2 boy images – they will be perfect for my young nephews!
I first stamped out the 1 boy with the kite image, the sun, and stamped out the bee image 3 times. I colored them simply with Copic markers and then cut them out.
I then flipped through the pattern paper and found a fun, busy pattern for inside my shaker window and a plain pink for the outside frame. Once I cut my inside panel and frame I used liquid glue to adhere a piece of acetate to my frame. Once that was dry I added the foam adhesive. Lastly, I put A LOT of sequins in various sizes and shapes into my window area before adding the frame to the busy “window” panel.
Lastly, I added my images and sentiment. I finished with a little Wink of Stella clear glitter brush to the wings of me bees.
