    • Happiness…

      Hello fellow crafters!

I am so grateful that you have stopped by today. Kim here from @CardmakingBlonde sharing a little more inspiration from November’s Flavor of the Month card kit.

I adore this image and the paper included in this collection! At this point this collection has produced two cards and there is enough material left over to produce probably three more. (I liked to use at least three patterns typically so I tend to go through paper quickly.)

Happiness truly is a warm puppy! We added a new addition to our family about 8 weeks ago and she has made us incredibly happy. Our cat has also warmed up to her too. 🙂

      This is Orla

Thank you so much for being such a supportive group of crafters, it is always so nice to be able to share a craft you love with others who love it as well. One of my favorite things, especially with cardmaking with the kit, is that we all start with the same ingredients but create such different yet lovely things.

I hope you take some time for yourself and get to create something that will bring you joy.

      Keep on creating,

      Kim 🙂

    • Day 4 Sneak Peek of the November Flavor of the Month Card Kit

Hello, it’s Stacy from CraftaholicMomma up today with Day 4 Sneak Peek of the new November Flavor of the Month Card Kit that will be revealed this Saturday, November 21st at 12:00am EST.

We hope that you’ll join us for this last card kit reveal. I am going to miss Scrapping for Less! However I am super excited for Teresa as she continues her journey into true retirement. Her family is so very important to her and I’m so happy that she’ll now be able to devote all of her time to her family.

Today, I used Collection 1 of the kit. I used the banner die that comes in the Banana Split goodie pack to create a shaker card. With the left over scraps I made a coordinating gift tag.

Be sure to hop along with us on Saturday and you’ll be able to enter into the Rafflecopter for a great prize.

      Thanks so much for visiting,

Hi Everyone!  Luci here with this adorable card using the Sunny Studios “Puppy Dog Kisses“, “Spring Scenes” and the SFL “Puppy Hugs and Kisses” paper pad!

Be sure to check out the video HERE!

      20200217_220026

This is an A2 size card or 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. I stamped and the puppy images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on some of the pattern paper and fussy cut them out. I popped them up with some foam tape.

I cut a panel of 110lb Neenah white cardstock to 5 1/2 X 4 inches, stamped and masked the scene stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend the sky (Tumbled Glass) and road (Black Soot & Iced Spruce), and I used a cloud stencil for the sky. I colored the grass area, tree, and bench with Copic markers and I stamped the grass sections from the stamp set with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink.  I cut the panel down to 5 1/4 X 3 3/4 inches.

I cut a piece of the pattern paper to 5 3/8 X 4 1/8 inches for the back panel.

If you want to make scene cards but are not sure about drawing your own the “Spring Scenes” stamp set is perfect. There are so many options with this one set for perfect scenes every time.

I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink,  on a piece of white cardstock.  I used my Misti to position the stamps to fit. By using a stamping platform I was able to get the sentiment positioned and stamped.  Then I cut it down to 1/2 inch wide and about 3 inches long, to finish it off I popped it up with foam tape and fishtailed the one end.

I used a black gel pen for the one puppy’s nose and eyes, and then cut out the bow from pattern paper after I stamped just that small section!

I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored the images super quick with Copic Markers and used my Scan N Cut to cut the images out, I used the dies to cut out ric rac and border the back panel, I cut a circle using a stitched circle die, and then I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, added a few enamel dots and added just a little of the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to the puppy’s bow!

    • Pawsitively Adorable!

      Hey crafty peoples!

I don’t know about you but often I find myself busy with life and looking longingly at my craft area at things I am itching to play with. Let’s face it new releases come out quickly which is fantastic but my schedule doesn’t always give me the chance to play with products as soon as they come in. This was the case with MFT’s Die-Namics Paw Prints dies. I knew as soon as I laid my eyes on it I had to have it and I had so much fun creating this card.

The sentiment is from my stash and I thought it went perfectly with the paw die. I also used MFT’s Stitched Mod Square STAX which I thought created the perfect space for that paw print to really stand out. I am working to build my card stash and when I remember to I am making cards that could possibly do double duty. For example this one could be a birthday card or just an encouragement card depending on what I need to write on the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you make the time for yourself when you can to play with your goodies no matter their release date!

      Happy Crafting!

      Kim 🙂
