Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with six cards all from Collection 3 of the February 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit! I love making quick cards and the ephemera and papers in this collection make it so simple!
Check out the video for all of the measurements and information!
The products I used from the kit were Collection 3, the cardstock, and the stencil that is part of the Banana Spilt Level. Outside items from my stash were white embossing powder and a sequin pack from a past kit! That’s all six from one collection!
This is an A2 size card or 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. I stamped and the puppy images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on some of the pattern paper and fussy cut them out. I popped them up with some foam tape.
I cut a panel of 110lb Neenah white cardstock to 5 1/2 X 4 inches, stamped and masked the scene stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I used Distress Oxide Inks to blend the sky (Tumbled Glass) and road (Black Soot & Iced Spruce), and I used a cloud stencil for the sky. I colored the grass area, tree, and bench with Copic markers and I stamped the grass sections from the stamp set with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. I cut the panel down to 5 1/4 X 3 3/4 inches.
I cut a piece of the pattern paper to 5 3/8 X 4 1/8 inches for the back panel.
If you want to make scene cards but are not sure about drawing your own the “Spring Scenes” stamp set is perfect. There are so many options with this one set for perfect scenes every time.
I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink, on a piece of white cardstock. I used my Misti to position the stamps to fit. By using a stamping platform I was able to get the sentiment positioned and stamped. Then I cut it down to 1/2 inch wide and about 3 inches long, to finish it off I popped it up with foam tape and fishtailed the one end.
I used a black gel pen for the one puppy’s nose and eyes, and then cut out the bow from pattern paper after I stamped just that small section!

Flavor of the Month
We had a Sell Out! Thanks so much for your support!
When you purchase after the 20th or especially on reveal day I must go in and capture your payment because our payments are auto-charged on the 20th for our subscribers, so if you subscribe after that date I must manually charge you.
Please don’t panic about whether you will receive the kit or not.
Please pay attention to the description on the subscription icon as I always but a date and time stamp as to when the subscriptions are closed for that month.
We are looking forward to some wonderful things to happen with our Flavor of the Month for 2019.
This year we will begin doing themes each month rather than focusing on a specific brand for the month.
That will allow a wider opportunity for brand awareness each month.
Check out our Design Team’s inspirations for you with this month’s Coffee themed products!
Each New Year I come up with Crafty Goals for myself. This past year I failed miserably. However, I am of a mindset that we just recharge and start again. I am not going to beat myself up about it. So, I am only making 1 Crafty Goal for the New Year and that would be to regularly and consistently create content for our Scrapping for Less YouTube Channel. Do you make goals for yourself? What are your crafty goals for the new year?
Crafty Hugs to my Scrapping for Less family!
