The rubber stamp was stamped with Gina K Black Amalgam Ink and the colored with Copic Markers. Since this was more of a scene stamp, I knew I wasn’t going to be cutting the image out (of course I could have, but I really like the flying leaves). I used modified rectangle die to cut my “scene” and used a slightly larger one to cut the solid paper (found in the Fall Break paper pad) to make a mat.
I had SUCH a hard time deciding which pattern paper to use. My focal point takes up a large portion of the front so I knew I wanted a small pattern. I also wanted pumpkins or leaves. It seems so silly to spend so much time finding the right piece of pattern paper but I ended up taking my stitched rectangle die to each piece of pattern paper – put the scene piece in the die to a REALLY good idea of what the card will look like. It came down to 2 patterns that I liked so I decided to use both!
I used the super small print for the front panel and the leaves for the inside of the card. I decided there wasn’t much room left on the front for the sentiment so I would need to stamped on the inside if the card. I took a scrap of white card stock and die cut a stitched, scalloped circle and stamped the sentiment in the center of the circle. I finished the front with a little shimmer using a clear glitter brush.
What do you think? Do you like the pattern paper on the inside as well?
Thank You all so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoy and get inspired.
Hey, everyone! I love being part of Christmas All Year Long for Scrapping for Less! It’s such a great way to build up my Christmas card stash before the holidays sneak up on me! Today I’m creating a quick card that can easily be mass produced using different patterned paper!
The Santa’s Workshop 6 x 6 paper pad from Carta Bella is full of gorgeous fun and whimsy papers! I chose two more classic patterns – but this card can easily be recreated with a more whimsical pattern to give a totally different feel! I chose the red paper for my background and I die cut the blue pattern with a reverse scallop frame to be the backdrop for my focal image.
I stamped the little mouse from the Sweet and Fun Holiday Your Next Stamp set and colored him in with alcohol markers. I just love his little tray with fruit cake! I also stamped a sentiment onto a strip of cardstock.
I adhered everything together – the sentiment strip with liquid glue and the frame and mouse with foam squares for dimension. Here’s a short how – to video!
One of my favorite things about Spring is flowers! I love when it is time to plant flowers in my yard. Now, I HATE yard work but planting flowers that is another story! Love doing that!
Today, I decided to bring you a card that just screams SPRING! Did you hear it? Lot’s of lovely spring products used on this card.

I recently made this adorable card…I wasn’t quite ready to let go of it so thought I would use it for my post today. I love the sentiment on this card. It was mine and my sister’s favorite song to sing at Eastertime. We sang it so much I am sure we tormented our parents with it. I really had a blast making this card and will enjoy looking at it until next year comes along and I send it off to someone…probably my sister!

And I think I am going to address them as well so they are all ready to go. So once a month I will have a video for you as I begin this series. Thanks so much for joining me today!
