Happy Monday Everyone! How Cute is this scarecrow?! I’m LOVING this kit so much – it’s fall themed and I am crazy for fall! The pattern paper, along with the fence image, scarecrow image and sentiment are all peeks from Collection 3. The leaf image is part of the banana split pack (a peek for those who like the extra bag of goodies!)
For this card I’ve trimmed 2 pieces of pattern paper for my panel and did some paper piecing for the scarecrow’s overalls. I colored the fence and the remainder of the scarecrow with Copic Markers. On the overalls, I added some Nuvo Glitter Accents in the color Winter Cranberry and some Glossy Accents to scarecrow’s eyes.
I cut out 3 leaves using the leaf die from the banana split pack and popped up the sentiment on foam adhesive right over those stems. I finished this card by adding Spectrum Noir Glitter Brush to the leaves.
Stop by each day for more Sneak Peeks and the reveal will be at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26 (so stay up late Friday and be one of the first to see the full reveal).

Hello there crafty friend! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie with a Sneak Peek of the fantastic August 2020 FOTM Card Kit with a Bubbles Galore theme!! I’m sharing some of the fun products available in the Banana Split Subscription and the punny stamps from Collection Two in this sweet shaker card I created!
Hello everyone, Beth from Bourbon Creek Crafts here today! I used the Tropical Fruit collection from the July 2020 Flavor of the Month Card kit to make 2 quick cards this week. You can watch the full process video HERE.
For my first card I used the slimline sketch, SFL Sketch Challenge #7, from this month’s sketch sheet.
I used 2 strips of the blue polka dot paper and matched them up in the middle to create a stripe across the front of my card. I stamped one of the pineapples from the stamp set and then used the water color paints from the Banana Split level add-on to give them some color. I did use one small piece of the yellow patterned paper from the In the Tropics, Collection 4 to stamp my sentiment on in the middle. To finish this card off, I added some Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Crystal Drops in the top left and bottom right corners.
For my second card, I decided to use the scraps I had left from my slimline card.
I pieced the scraps together into a grid pattern. I used another scrap of that yellow patterned paper to stamp my sentiment and added a pineapple that I stamped and colored. As a finishing touch on this card, I added some 1/2 inch circles from the yellow patterned paper to bring in more pops of yellow.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying your July card kit as well!
Hello! It’s Beth from Bourbon Creek Crafts here today and I’m sharing the first sneak peek of the July 2020 Flavor of the Month kit, In the Tropics! For those of us who haven’t been able to get away for a true vacation recently, this definitely gives you those tropical vacation vibes!!🌴
I used Collection #1 (Tropical Vibes) for my card and the Mojo Monday Sketch #300 that is included on this month’s sketch sheet. I stamped the toucan onto white card stock and used the watercolor paint set that came with the Banana Split level kit to give her some color. While she was drying, I built the rest of my card.
I used three different patterns from the collection and backed them all on black cardstock to help break up the patterns. I also stamped the hibiscus flower and painted it. I used the “Toucan do anything” sentiment (how cute is that saying???) and added it onto the card with the flower. I also ended up adding a flower sequin to cover up a paint smudge near her head.🤦🏻♀️
This card was super fun to make! You can watch my full process video HERE. I hope it gives you some inspiration for your kit this month and I hope it brings you some relaxing and tropical vibes. 😎 And, if you like what you see, be sure to sign up for the kit subscription now because these kits have been selling out fast!
