Hello, it’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with a birthday card featuring the brand new January Flavor of the Month Card Kit “All About the Boys” that was just released this past Saturday.
This kit is wonderful for making cards for the fellas in our lives. Whether they like kings and crowns or tools or gnomes and buffalo plaid they are surely going to love any card you’ve made with this kit.
Starting today, January 28, 2020 through this Friday, January 31, 2020 if you purchase any of the in stock Flavor of the Month Card Kits (including this new one!) and the January SFL Winter Fairy Bundle you will receive $5 off and a FREE GIFT on your next purchase. See graphic below for details.
Today I used the stencil from the Banana Split level to make my background with Distress Oxide Inks and blending brushes. I then stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black Ink and layered it on colored cardstock.
We have listened to our customers and have given you an entire kit for masculine themed cards. We all know those are difficult cards to make, so for all the men in our lives here is a whole kit dedicated to those wonderful men we need to make cards for.
Head on over to Scrapping for Less to either subscribe or purchase a 1x kit. Make sure you also enter our Rafflecopter as well too!

Kim here from Cardmaking Blonde with this week’s fourth sneak peek for January’s Flavor of the Month card kit. This month is “All About the Boys” and if buffalo plaid isn’t a great fit for masculine cards I don’t know what is! I am excited to share today’s card with you and also tell a quick story of some confusion I had and maybe clear it up for you all too in case you have the same question I did. So here is my card which I created using collection two “Buffaloed”.
When I got my kit in the mail and opened and was pouring over all the collections I came to this collection and read the sentiments and thought “What in the world does Buffaloed mean?” I’m getting accustomed to not knowing new songs, new slang, and new actors/actresses. I thought I had new slang to learn but nope turns out it’s just a word I wasn’t familiar with. It means to be intimidated, so the way I used it on this card is saying “Don’t get buffaloed (intimidated). Stand your ground! Have a wild birthday!” Perfect for someone who may be facing a milestone birthday I think.
That’s it for this sneak peek I hope you find some inspiration and maybe a new vocabulary word 😉 . Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to check out this card. Don’t forget it’s sneak peek week so check out the other peeks from previous days and come back tomorrow for the last one before the big reveal!
