Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with these super simple super fast Christmas Pocket Cards! I also do some foiling without a laminator!
I am so excited to still be doing this series this year, definitely helped me to have my cards ready without having to scramble during the holidays. So join us each month and hopefully it will inspire you to work through them all year!
For the step by step process for creating the pockets check out the video HERE!
For this first card it gives every reason I love going camping. I really miss the days we would join the family out at the camp in the Florida Everglades and have fun all weekend without a care about what was back at home. Campfires that we kept running all day and night, swamp buggy and four wheeler rides out to the middle of the field to check out the stars.
My husband said this is his favorite card of the three. Canoeing is so much fun and I personally can’t wait until the water is high enough to be able to go to down the river on a 4 hour float.
Hi Everyone! Luci here from My Crazy Craft Life with a card made using a stamp set from Sunny Studios “Home Sweet Gnome”! I love gnomes so I was super excited to be able to make a card with this set! I also used the Knock on Wood Lawn Fawn paper pad. You can head over to Scrapping for Less to pick up yours at a great price. Be sure to check out my video for all the details HERE!
To make this card I did a lot of masking! A LOT!
I stamped and masked the images on the largest die cut circle I have about 4 inches. Next, I used distress oxides, a cloud and hillside stencils to add some color to the background. I colored the images with Copic markers and then used a smaller smaller circle die on the front panel. I popped the panel up with some foam tape and put it over the larger circle directly on to the card. I cut a 1/2 inch strip for the sentiment and then added sequins from a past SFL FOTM card kit and a purple bow from some ribbon.
Good Evening…a late post here today! It is a super busy time of year for everyone I know. I spent the day baking with my daughter, grandson, and granddaughter and boy did we have a great time. Ok though…confession time…I am a cardmaker and I totally ran out of Christmas cards this year! Had to scramble to make more. So I will be continuing to create Christmas cards for at least the next month or so.
Tonight I used one of the new “Your Next Stamps” we have in the store and My Favorite Thing’s Christmas paper Pad to create this adorable card with these super cute mice. I also decided to use my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers that I have not colored with in FOREVER! I wanted the whole image to sparkle and shine!
Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers (not in store…but let me know in contents if you are interested and I can put in store)
Hello to all my fellow crafters! It has been quite some time since I have been on here and put up any of my own creations. In fact, it has been quite some time since I have crafted period! I have been in a creative slump let me tell you. So much of a slump that I have not created anything in months. In an effort to get me crafting again Design Team member Stacy said OK…enough! Let’s get together (via Facetime) the best way to craft if you don’t have anyone close by…in my opinion anyhow 🙂 and do some creating together.
So, we Facetimed and did just that…got our Christmas cards going. I needed to keep mine simple and fast so I went through my Christmas box and Christmas paper pads…(I was also trying to use just older stuff from my stash). I came up with the My Mind’s Eye Collection “Cozy Christmas” and some ephemera. Oh and the crucial element to me to help me whip out fast cards is to use sketches!
Hooray to Stacy for getting me out of this slump!!! Thanks so very much!
So with just a paper pad and some ephemera you can create some quick and easy Christmas Cards! I have to remember to tell myself that every single card does not have to be a masterpiece!
We have several Christmas items that you can shop from. Take a look around in our shop and just see what might strike your fancy!
