Hello friends! Thanks for stopping in today and checking out the SFL blog. Kim here from Cardmaking Blonde with a few more cards from the Easy Peasy collection. May’s Flavor of the Month Card Kit is all about encouragement. This collection is a sweet way to say Hello, Hang in There, Thinking of
Here’s what I have come up with AND I still have enough papers and goodies to make a few more cards that I will share on Instagram:
The papers in this kit are just beautiful and I had a hard time choosing which side of the paper I wanted to use! Don’t forget that the best way to ensure you will get your card kit is to subscribe but if you want to see what you are getting the release is the last Saturday of the month. So if you make sure to come to take a peek as soon as it reveals you’ll probably be okay to order a one-time kit…probably 😉 .
Thanks again for spending a bit of time with me today and I hope you get to do some crafting of your own!
Just keep creating,
Hello, it’s Stacy from Craftaholicmomma up today on the Scrapping for Less blog with a couple of projects using Collection Three “Weather Together” from the new May Flavor of the Month Card Kit.
First I used the stamp set to make this cute pair of earrings from shrink plastic. I stamped the rainbow image with StazOn ink and colored them in with my Arteza Alcohol Markers. I adhered jewelry findings and voila! A cute pair of earrings.
Next I used some of the pattern papers to make three gift card holders. These are supper easy to make. I got the pattern from Angie over at Chicnscratch. I’m including the pattern below.
I ordered the bulldog clips from Amazon. The sentiment is from a Create A Smile stamp set from my stash.
I plan to make a bunch of these for the holidays. You could use them as mini envelopes also by just tucking in a small card.
Thanks for visiting,
Hello Everyone! We all have time where we want to create but we are short on time. Whether it’s because you need a card in a hurry or just want to fit in some time to decompress, card kits can be your friend.
My card today was made using mostly elements from collection 1 from the May 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit. The only thing I used that wasn’t from the kit was the die I used to cut the hill and fence. I trimmed down 2 of the pattern papers from the collection and the fence between was perfect to separate the 2 patterns. Benny was stamped with Copic friendly ink and simply colored. I added Benny with foam tape. I arranged the flowers embellishments along the fence and finished the card with a little glossy accents on his heart and Spectrum Noir Sparkle Brush!

Hello hello! It’s Beth here today and I made two quick and easy cards using the May 2020 Flavor of the Month Kit, Lets Encourage One Another. Sometimes you just need quick and easy. I also used two of the sketches from this month’s sketch sheet. You can watch the full process HERE.
For my first card I used the Little Lady collection from the kit. And I used the Flavor of the Month Card Sketch from the sketch sheet. I stamped the daisy from the Little Lady stamp set, colored the centers and fussy cut them out. I also used one of the sentiments from that stamp set.
For my second card, I used the Weather Together collection. I also used the SFL Sketch Challenge #5 from the sketch sheet.
I love that rainbow sunburst pattern! I matted all of my pieces on black cardstock to help them stand out. I also used the teal ribbon that came in this collection to wrap around my pink piece on the left. I stamped my sentiment from the Weather Together stamp set and then used the pink embossing powder that came in my kit to heat emboss it. I finished it off with some sequins from the kit.
I hope you guys enjoyed my quick cards today and I hope you’re all having a crafty day!❤

Hi, all! It’s Beth here and I have a crafty goal this year to use up one old card kit each month. I love the FOTM kits and have been hoarding them for the last several years. I decided this is the year I want to get them out, enjoy them and make pretty things. Plus, I need to make room for new kits!!!😉
The kit I chose to use in May was the August 2018 kit with the theme For the Love of Pets. In the kit there were 2 dog themed collections and 2 cat themed collections. To see more of the details of each of these projects as well as links to products used, you can watch the video HERE.
I started with collections 1 and 2 (Dog Tails by Echo Park and Rainbow Dots and Stripes by Sunny Studio). I combined the papers, embellishments, stamps and journal cards from these two collections to make this cute dog themed mini album.
Next, I combined papers, ephemera, stamps and embellishments from collections 3 and 4 (Smitten Kitten by Doodlebug Designs and Dots and Stripes by Echo Park) to make this cute little kitty themed mini album.
With the scraps I had left, I made a decorative note pad holder for a 3 inch post it note pad and some cards.
I hope you got some inspiration and ideas on how to use up some of your older FOTM kits (surely I’m not the only one who has been hoarding them???)! Have a crafty day!
Hello fellow crafters!
Benny the Bigfoot is just adorable! I have been having fun making cards with him and his footprint. Here are a couple that I have come up with so far and I’m not even finished with all the goodies from this collection:
I am still playing with this collection so I’ll share the rest of the cards made with it on SFL’s Show and Share FaceBook Group. It’s a great place for inspiration and sharing what we’ve all been working on with our SFL purchased goodies.
Thank you so much for spending some time with me today here on the blog and I hope you’ll come back next Thursday and take a gander at more cards from another collection in the “Let’s Encourage One Another” Flavor of the Month card kit. If you haven’t already gotten your kit grab one here (ONLY 4 LEFT!!!), and if you want to be sure not to miss out on upcoming kits subscribe here.
Have a great day and keep on creating!
