Hello! It’s Beth from Bourbon Creek Crafts here with you today! I had some fun with the Christmas Treats paper collection and made some Christmas treat pockets! You can see my full process video HERE.
The Christmas Treats paper collection has such fun little treat images, I thought they would make perfect little pockets!
I also used the Reindeer Games stamp set to color up some cute little elf images to add to the front of my pockets.
I started with a little diaper fold type pocket. I took the 6×6 piece of paper and folded it in half diagonally. Then I folded the top tip down to the center fold. I folded both of the side tips in towards the middle and then adhered my top flap down over the top of them using some Art Glitter Glue.
The next pocket I made is a double pocket. You can follow the process video for scoring and folding this double pocket. Starting with another 6×6 sheet, I again folded it in half diagonally. I scored at 1/2 inch on either side of that center fold line. I turned my paper a quarter of a turn and scored at 2 3/4 inches in on both sides. I folded up all of my score lines to create the holder. I punched a hole at the top of the holder and used some ribbon and bakers twine to hold it all together.
These little pockets will hold tea bags or Ghiradelli chocolate squares. They would make great little stocking stuffers or coworker treats for the holidays!
Thanks for checking out my project today! I hope you enjoyed this treat holder idea and the cute Christmas Treats paper collection!
Have a crafty day!
