Hello Everyone! I am LOVING this ephemera from Collection 1. Today I made 3 cards where the ephemera is the main focus – mainly!
This card is similar to the card I made during the reveal. The 2 yellow pieces of pattern paper are left from the triangular piece I cut for Card 1 in my reveal post. I added this fun stripe paper underneath and add red card stock between the patterns so they each pop. I then grabbed this fun “Picnic Time” ephemera piece to add in my triangular space. I then finished the card with Nuvo Crystal Drops in the color “Blushing Red”, which is from the Banana Split portion of the card kit.
I personally LOVE watermelon and this ant on his watermelon slice cracks me up! For this card I added my watermelon scrap in the center and popped up on foam adhesive the 2 watermelon pieces from the ephemera.
This little ant needed somewhere to take his picnic so I created this scene with the stencil from the Banana Split portion of the card kit. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for my clouds and Peeled Paint and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink for the grass. I added a scrap of pattern paper for my ant to stand on and popped him up on foam adhesive.

Hey there, it’s Beth here today! I decided to play some more with the Picnic Time collection from the June 2020 Flavor of the Month card kit, A Walk in the Park. You can view my full process video and links to products used HERE.
When I saw the strawberry and red gingham prints in this collection, I immediately thought of some pictures of my daughters picking strawberries from our garden. So, I decided to challenge myself to make a 12×12 scrapbook page, using the 6×6 papers in this collection!
I used the red gingham and turquoise polka dot papers to back my photos and then accented with the strawberry paper. I did pull a sentiment stamp from the Pond Life collection, the Be Full of Life sentiment, to stamp on my yellow tag made from a scrap of the yellow polka dot paper. I added some scrap strips I had left over to the left side of the page and cut them into fishtails. I did the same for the top right corner of the page. Then I finished off the layout with some letter stickers from my stash and sequins that came with the Banana Split Level goodies from this kit.
Next, I decided that I could make at least one more card with the paper I had left in this kit. I used the My Favorite Things Sketch #120.
I had one full sheet of paper left, that yellow gingham, so I used it as my card mat on a red cardstock cardbase. I added the turquoise and red heart pattern piece (my next largest scrap) in the center. On the left side, I added a thin strip of white cardstock to anchor the fishtail banners. I used scraps I already had as the fishtails (I only used 3 instead of the 4 that the sketch showed). I pulled another sentiment from the Pond Life collection (for some reason those were fitting better with my projects today), Hope You are Doing Well, and stamped it on a scrap of white cardstock. I ended up using a corner rounder on all 4 corners to give it a softer and rounder look. Then I added some of the clear enamel dots that came in the Picnic Time collection.
As I was looking at the scraps I had left, I decided I could piece together one more card.
I used a black cardbase this time and pieced together several of the scraps I had left into a grid-like pattern. I used a tag die (from a previous FOTM kit) and topped it with one of the ant ephemera pieces and the Missing You sentiment from this kit’s stamp set. I popped this tag up on some foam squares in the center of the card. I finished this card off with the last of those clear enamel dots. And that finished off this kit!
These projects were a lot of fun and I hope they gave you some more ideas on how to use your kit!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you’re having a crafty day!
With everything going on today we can most certainly go with our families and/or friends….less than 10 people though!
So, let’s wander through a lovely park, have a picnic lunch, play on the slide, catch frogs by the pond, and act like monkeys on the monkey bars! Those are all the components of the kit this month!

This card came together in my head as soon as I saw the paper boats from the patterned paper in the collection. I stamped out the images, colored them up with Copic markers and fussy cut them out so I could build the scene on the card. Even the sentiment jumped out at me as the perfect thing I want to say to the friend I plan on sending this card to.
I’m looking forward to seeing all the cards the design team creates for the hop this weekend and I hope you will join us as well. In the meantime don’t forget to come back Friday for one last sneak peak before the big reveal and thanks again for stopping by!

Today I made a card and matching tag from my scraps left from Collection 1. Omg! That ant is beyond CUTE!!
I used Mojo Monday Sketch #539 for my card.

Happy Monday! It’s Sneak Peek week and today I am sharing a card I made using Collection 2. I was happy to see more of the Green Leaf Ribbon in this collection. I think it’s fun and adds great texture to your project.
I stamped the image with Copic friendly ink and then the sentiment inside the monkey bars. I colored the images and matted with brown card stock from the card kit. I used a silver gel pen (not included) to add a little extra to the area where the monkey bars would go together. I finished the card using 3 enamel dots from the collection.
Thank you for checking out Monday’s sneak peek and stop by each day to see more!
I used the SFL Sketch Challenge #6 card sketch from the sketch sheet to create my card. You can see the full process and all the products I used for this card in my video HERE.
Missing You Card by Bourbon Creek Crafts using the June 2020 FOTM card kit
I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek! Be sure to check back each day this week for more previews of this fun A Walk in the Park card kit! And then Saturday is the big full reveal day which includes a hop featuring tons of great projects using this new kit.
My first card is my absolute favorite! I love the colors and the simple design… those beautiful lemon blossoms are just the right touch for such a delicate combination of papers!
I used the following Copic Markers to color the lemon blossoms ~ C00, C1, Y11, Y03, Y13, YR0000, YR01.
I have been itching to make one of these beautiful lemons into a lime and I just had to pair it with this gorgeous green patterned paper. The photo makes my coloring appear to be a bit brighter, but in person it coordinates very nicely. I used the following Copic Markers to color these images:
Lemon ~ Y000, Y11, Y13, YG0000, YG11, G82
Lime ~ YG0000, YG03, YG11, YG63, G82
My third and final card features one of the gorgeous lemon patterned papers in the collection… I love the colors in these papers!! It just screams summer to me! Again, the photo makes my coloring on this one also looks a bit bright, but in person it’s toned down. I used the same Copic markers for this last card but I kept the leaves lighter. You may also see a similarity to the card I created for my sneak peek of the Let’s Encourage One Another card kit… I flipped the stitched die cut card stock pieces for a different design. You can check out my sneak peek card here… Easy Peasy Sneak Peek card.
Here’s a video sharing the coloring of the lemon from my second card and the finishing touches of assembling these cards. I hope you’ll check it out!!
