Hello Everyone! Christine from Pattercrafts here with a Sneak Peek of the July 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit! The theme for July is Summer Camp.
For this card today, I chose a piece of pattern paper for my night sky. I trimmed down some green card stock for the hills and added some distress ink to darken the paper. I then stamped, colored and fussy cut the camper image. I completed my scene by using some of the puffy stickers included in the collection.
I love that sentiment (also found in the stamp set) “Go to your Happy Place”! The elements from this collection created a place I would definitely consider my “Happy Place”.
Stay tuned all week for more sneak peeks. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #FOTMSummerCamp for a chance to be featured on all Scrapping for Less social media.
Can you guess what technique I used for part of this card? If you do you will have figured out something in the kit!
If not, don’t worry I will have the video up along with the blog hop on Saturday July 27th at 12:00am PST!

Hello there crafty friends! Crystal from Tawny Owl Paperie here with another look at the Happy Camper stamp set by Pink & Main. I’ve paired this adorable set again with the wonderful Galaxy Foil papers also by Pink & Main.
I can’t get enough of these Galaxy Foil papers!! They just make a card so quick and easy and those shiny stars are so much fun! Today, my design also includes a fun Campfire Sticker by Jolees… isn’t that fun?! It’s a pretty big sticker and I struggled a bit with what to do with it, but I think it makes for a fun card with this bear holding marshmallows getting ready to make some s’mores. It’s hard to tell in the picture but his little marshmallow on top is actually on fire… which I imagine with this huge campfire it would be!! I used the following Copic markers for the bear ~ E000, E33, E35, E37, YR15, R20, BG11, BG13, B95, B97
You can see some of the glittery goodness in the fire with this picture.
To finish off the card, I popped up the bear and the sentiment that was stamped with VersaMark watermark ink on black card stock and heat embossed an ultra fine white embossing powder.
Hope you enjoyed my card for today… but hold on, I have a bonus card!!
When I had created my card earlier this month using the Hootiful stamp set by Heffy Doodle… you can check out that card here —> Hootiful For You-Hoo card… I had stamped and colored a few extra images so I thought I’d use those for this super quick card. All I did for this card was blend some Chipped Sapphire distress ink directly on my white card base. I started blending in the center and worked my way out giving a nice fade to the color. Such a quick card and one that I can send a friend to wish them a hootiful day!!
Now that’s all for me today! I sure hope you liked my cards!
Good Morning and Happy Thursday fellow crafters! Katie here from 2CrafyKaties to share with you a card using Sunny Studio Stamps “Summer Picnic” and Echo Park’s 6x6 “Good Day Sunshine” paper pad! This month’s theme uses products that focus on celebrating the outdoors, nature, camping, and being under the stars!
Here is what I created:
I love sketches! I have a few favorites that I check out every week. As I was getting ready to create this card, I had no idea what I was going to make. Sketches to the rescue! I started (and finished) with Sketch Saturday #572!
For the month of July the theme is Under the Stars. We are celebrating nature and camping, spending time with Mother Nature.
Tomorrow my husband, my daughter, my mother and father in law and myself are headed “Up North” for our annual vacation. I live in Southeast Minnesota. We rent a cabin at a small family owned resort in a lake in Central Northern Minnesota, approximately an hour from the Canadian Border. The “boys” spend their days fishing and the “girls” hang out by the cabin and enjoy the relaxation.
This is a picture of my husband (right) and my father in law (left) with their catch.
So I thought I would turn this set of stickers by Paper House into a cute sign for our cabin and leave it there as a thank you gift to the resort owners. They are super sweet people who go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

I really had so much fun with this project. I have had the reveal wheel since it first came out, and have not used it, just waiting for the right time, and this was exactly the project I was waiting for.
First using white cardstock I cut the card base, the wheel heart frame and the little arrow. I cut the night sky panel using the square reveal wheel die, and heat embossed using Gold embossing powder the Wish and the Heart of Stars.
I stamped and cut the two little critters and colored them with alcohol markers, and using some scraps from the paper pad decided to make the grassy panel and then a blanket for the critters to sit upon.
After figuring out how I wanted the sentiment in the window I stamped the open stars, then Upon, closed stars then A Star and heat embossed them. It does appear I need to use a little more of that embossing buddy to get a cleaner embossing.
I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to you.
Have a great day and see ya back next week with my FOTM Sneak Peek project, and I had a lot of fun with it as well. Let me tell you, each month the kits are getting better and better and I am really excited about this one.

Hello Everyone! Christine from Pattercrafts here to share this fun card to tell someone special how much they mean to you!
For today’s card, I am using the Cozy Camper Stamp Set by Newton’s Nook. For this card, I cut an oval using a scallop oval die in the center of the card base. I then used white card stock to create a scene to put behind the oval. The scene was created first by heat embossing the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment with a clear sticky ink, then sprinkled on some charcoal embossing powder and heat set.
Once my sentiment was heat set, I used a cloud stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to make clouds in the sky. For the grass, I used a grassy border die and made several layers.
The images were all stamped with Gina K Designs Amalgam Jet Black Ink. I used copic markers to color all the images then cut them out. I added the larger of the 2 campers, the table setting and of course a flamingo to the front panel.
To finish the card, I added a few heart stamps above the sentiment – it looked a little bare up there 😉
Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you’re interested in the video that goes along with this card CLICK HERE!
Hey, everyone! My family spent this past week at the lake, so it’s super fitting that this month’s theme from Scrapping for Less is camping and outdoors!
The Winston’s Lake House stamp set from Newton’s Nook Designs is SO cute! There are so many cute scene building stamps! I almost went with a lake scene – but the little bear and cabin images just spoke to me!
This card came together super quickly with just a bit of masking! I stamped my sentiment first and then the bear image. When masking it’s important to remember to stamp whatever image you want to be in front first! I stamped the bear image onto masking paper and cut it out with scissors and placed it over my original stamped image and stamped my lake house. When I removed the masking paper it looks like the lake house is set behind the little bear! I used my Spectrum Noir Triblend markers to color them in.
I didn’t to much to embellish the card – just some gems and clear glitter! Check out my video below!
Be sure to check out the video for all the details HERE!
I started out by using the background stamp on the Tim Holtz Travel Platform with Hero Arts Inks in Ombre Mint to Green, Soft Purple, Soft Pool, Pool, and Deep Ocean and layered the colors stamping multiple times.
Next, I used the solid tree stamp in the Critter Campout set to create a tree line and then used the Scan N Cut DX to cut the image out with black cardstock. I used a piece of blue mulberry and blue vellum from Die Cuts with A View, they were old mat stacks I had in my stash, and a piece of green cardstock I cut them down to fit within the scene and layered the vellum over the mulberry. I cut out a border on the green cardstock for the border of the lake and grass and I stamped the grass outline with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink all over. I cut the sky background down to 5 1/4 in. X 4 in. and glued all of the pieces down to create the scene.
I colored a couple of the critters and the campfire from the stamp set with Studio 71 markers and used the Scan N Cut to cut them out. Then glued them onto the scene. I glued the panel to a black card base. I used two of the stickers from the Paper House “At the Lake” sticker set for the sentiment on the inside and front panel. To finish it off I used the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen on all of the stars in the sky and then to create a pooling effect in the water.
Hey there crafty friends! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie with an adorable card using the sweetest little camper set called Happy Camper from Pink & Main. I paired this sweet set with the beautiful Galaxy Foil papers also from Pink & Main… these two products were literally made for each other!!
I’ve been wanting to make a long card… one that will fit in a #10 envelope. I love to change things up sometimes and this size of card is fun to play with! I started with a 8-1/2 x 11″ piece of kraft card stock. I trimmed it down to 8-1/2 x 8″ and then on the 8″ side, I scored it right in the middle at 4″… giving me a 8-1/2 x 4″ card base. A #10 envelope is actually larger, measuring at 4-1/8 x 9-1/2″ so you could actually make a larger card if you’d like. This was just the size I decided to go with.
I had my card base and I had picked out my Galaxy Foil paper… but then I realized my paper was only 6″ so how do I make a long card with this short patterned paper. Well, I found that Gina K.’s Plum Punch card stock coordinated with the Galaxy Foil paper and that helped to fill in the rest of my background. And to finish off my scene, I die cut some Gina K. Grass Green card stock using the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn. I then adhered my grass layers to the plum card stock being sure to not glue down the top layer of grass blades so I could tuck in my car and camper.
Speaking of… how adorable is this car and camper!! They were so much fun to color!! I love all the scallops and swirls… so fun!! There are so many cute images in this set too! I just love that little backpack… it reminded me of a denim backpack that I had as a kid so I colored it to look like it, except mine was green. 🙂 How cute is that sentiment ‘Happy trails!’… I thought this would be a cute card to send to someone going out on an adventure maybe camping or taking an RV around the country seeing all the sights!
Oh my goodness… these adorable bears!! I love their cute faces! I had a blast coloring them too. They look ready to enjoy some camping fun. And that crown on the glamping girl bear… love!!!
I finished off the card with some kraft twine… it filled in that empty space in that top right corner… and I think it fits with the whole camping/outdoors theme. I used a bunch of Copic markers to color in the images… here they are:
