Hello Everyone! Christine with Pattercrafts here today with a card using Lawn Fawn’s “Critters in the Sea”a Stamp Set! I’m also using pattern paper from Pink and Main called “Watercolor Foil” – I thought it would be perfect with my water theme card.
I also am using the Lawn Fawn die set called “Ocean Waves Accent”. I used 2 of the larger dies to cut waves into my pattern paper so my sea critters could sit in the pattern paper.
First, I stamped all the images from the set with Archival Jet Black ink because it is waterproof. I used the Arteza Real Brush Markers to color the images, carrying the watercolor theme from the pattern paper.
I then die cut the images – used a stitched rectangle die to cut my main panel – then used the Ocean Waves Accent die to cut 3 “waves into my pattern paper.
I attached the main panel to my card using foam tape and then put my sea critters into the slits made by the waves dies.

When I use a 6×6 piece of paper and I use the majority for the front of the card, I tend to use the little piece that is left (generally about 1 1/2 – 2 inches”). I use that piece to decorate the inside of the card. In this case, I used a scallop die and cut the piece to resemble the ocean wave accent die. I had a few extra critters left over so I added the octopus to the inside of the card. If I did this card again, I would change the direction of that pattern paper. Once it was down, I decided it would look better the other way – but I already adhered it down – I was committed – LOL
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy and get inspired!
