Teresa here with a Product Promote Tuesday (normally this post happens on Mondays but I had grandma duty yesterday and couldn’t get it up.) I am going to absolutely try my best to bring you Monday Product Promotes this year with an actual project to accompany what I am showcasing. Also, new for this year will be a 2 day sale to go along with the Product Promote…so, the main item I am showcasing that company/category will be on sale for the day of the blog post and the next day. Flash sales are great!
So, onto today’s project! I am still in the Christmas card making mode…I am working hard to build up a stash so there is not a mad dash to finish in December of 2018. I recently saw Amy R from Prairie, Paper and Ink do this technique but with a different stamp set…I was itching to try it so I grabbed Altnew’s Poinsettia and Pine and created this lovely card. Not perfect but I was definitely happy since this was the first time I have tried this technique.

I used the Altenew Poinsettia and Pine Bundle to stamp my images in VersaMark ink,
Then heat embossed them with gold embossing powder.
I used Prima Metallic Watercolor pallett to watercolor the images.
I absolutely love the beautiful shimmer this card gives.

We needed a sentiment on this classy looking card, so I pulled out
some Gold foil paper and die cut it with Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Merry word.
I pulled out an old stamp set I had that had tons of holiday words to emboss the
word Christmas with that same gold embossing powder. I then popped up the word strip
with some foam dimensionals and lastly popped up the whole panel on the
grey cardstock that I used as the card base.
Use the Code “ProductPromote” for an extra 10% off any Altenew products!
Love how this turned out!
