What a very sweet day today! It was a very different Christmas for hubby and I this year. We normally spend Christmas Day with our youngest child and her family enjoying the day with them. They were off on a very special Christmas ski vacation this year so hubby and I had a quiet day enjoying each other…and having good food. We did stockings for each other, something we have not done in years…and both of us had special and wonderful treasures in our stockings. While I missed the normal it was a very sweet, sweet day!
So, what did you do today to have a sweet day? Tell me something that you did out of the normal today. I have another prize to send someone’s way. I will draw all the recent prizes next Monday on January 1 during the Product Promote post. I will be sharing great stuff that will be happening next year with Scrapping for Less! So watch for that post! Leave a comment below and I will use Random.org again for this post!
Thanks so much for your wonderful response to SFL and your support this past year.

We played new games this year. One was with m&m’s and the other with candy canes. Oh the laughs and memories we have. It was a wonderful day. 🤗

We opened presents first then we ate dinner. Normally we eat and then exchange gifts. It was a lovely Christmas Day spent with friends and family!

We packed up and hit the road! We are vacationing in Arizona for two weeks, driving from just outside of Chicago. It’s all five of us (my husband, son 23, “adoptive son” 23, my daughter 18 as of a couple hours ago and myself) going for my daughter’s 18th birthday today!

I normally spend Christmas eve with my Dad and Christmas day with my mom and go over my sisters. This year on Christmas day we didn’t go to my sisters because of the snow. In fact I didn’t even see my mom. I stayed home and then went back over my dad’s for dinner. It was sad not spending the day with my sister and mom.

We made pizza for Christmas lunch. No fancy food this year. I enjoyed a quiet day at home with my children. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas Day.

It was a fun filled weekend. Started off with some last minute holiday shopping on Saturday with my mom. On Saturday the family was invited to my sisters’ in-laws for Christmas eve dinner and celebrations. On Christmas we had a low key quiet day then headed over to a cousin’s house for Christmas dinner and festivities. Today is all a out relaxing until work tomorrow.

This year I delivered and put out food for the crisis department at work. Our teams work very hard in the community to help people in crisis. It was a good day.

Ejoyed having the family at our house. Our grandkids tried opening presents with mittens on. Was so much fun to watch and they enjoyed it too. Will be a Christmas tradition!

Quiet Christmas…opened gifts with the kiddos and hung out in our jammies most of the day. We watched Christmas movies and snacked all day. My husband made steak dinner (we don’t usually do the traditional Christmas dinner since there’s just the 4 of us and we don’t really like half of the “traditional” foods anyway. LOL!) I’ve recently found your site and look forward to ordering kits in the coming year!
