Hello! Crystal here with another look at the November Flavor of the Month card kit. I have some more fun cards to share with you!! So let’s just get started!
My first card uses some of the extra elements in Collection One. The focal image is a piece of ephemera. I added some polka dot ribbon and of course, sequins! I also stamped the sentiment from the Cute as a Button set from Sunny Studios. I die cut that out with a stitched banner die in my stash. This was a quick, fun card and I think I know just who I’ll be sending it to.
Now this cute card is just about my most favorite of the batch! I just love this adorable little sheep and he looks so happy jumping over that button. Seriously… cute as a button! This sketch was also my favorite of the four. It was really easy to do using the fun patterned papers! I made the sky and ground by blending distress inks while masking each section off. I stamped and colored the sheep on a scrap piece of paper. I stamped the sentiment and then adhered the button and the sheep. So cute!
Now this third card really focuses on the pretty papers in Collection Three. I used the first sketch for this one, but I flipped it again. The only stamping for this one was the ‘thanks’ sentiment from the Banana Split level stamp set called Cute as a Button by Sunny Studio. I added some gold thread behind the sentiment and some sequins. Pretty simple, but I like it!
My last card is another simple one… I again let the papers do their magic. I love the contrast of the different woodgrain papers dividing the cardfront. The final touches using the flower sticker and the die cut Thank You by Xcut… just finished the card off perfectly!
I sure hope that you’ve enjoyed these cards.
During the November FOTM blog hop, I had mentioned that I made four cards for each collection using the four different sketches. I’ve only shared 8 of the cards so far. If you head over to my blog you’ll see the last 8 cards —> here!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
