Hi everyone, Sandy here for a fun and very cute cards that I did with the
July Flavor of the Month Card Kit.
So for todays project, I wanted to do some very easy masculine cards. I don’t do many because for some reason they tend to be hard for me. Creativity road block???? Hmmm. Anyways, I was looking at the papers in the July kit and realized I love how diverse these kits are. You will NOT be getting the same thing over and over again every month with is awesome!!!!
So I started off with some of the more masculine papers, no hearts and flowers in the bunch. I cut them down to 4 x 5.25 and then I kept the left overs for the accent paper. These are double sided so that worked out great.
I went ahead and glued the paper down a couple different ways for interest on the 4.25 x 5.50 card bases.
Now I pulled just a couple of embellishments from the kit. Not a lot because I wanted these to be clean and simple and not take forever to make.
After I adhered the embellishments down, I grabbed a fine tip black pen. The sentiment stickers looked lost on the paper so I thought outlining them in black would make them pop.
And here are the final cards. I love how they came out and it took me 20 mins to make all 5, mostly because of the time it took tracing the words.
Two if the cards I used the candle stickers.
And for the other 3, I divided the balloons.
I hope you like them. Ps here is the date for the August Kit. Plus there is an exclusive stamp set from Pink and Main just for this Scrapping for Less Kit!!!! You don’t want to miss out!!!!
I really do love how these came out and hope you do to.
